Well, I've been trying to take my sweet time, but I've almost finished the two DLCs for Breath of the Wild already =|

More Persona 4 Golden. I probably need to slow down a little. I've only played it for three or four days, and I already beat Shadow Kanji.

Finished Horizon Zero Dawns main storyline a few days at 70.07% completion really enjoyed the game was fantastic. Probably get the additional content sometime next year.

Just finished Jak and Daxter today at 100% on the PS4 got it for like £2ish on Cdkeys.Enjoyable platformer.Actually had the game for years for the PS2 since like 2002 and finally went ahead and completed it on The PS4 took me long enough  .

I bought Nioh: Complete Edition on PC. I already own the base game on PS4, but I couldn't get into it because the visibility was so poor in action mode, and it felt unresponsive for some reason; I got up to the second real mission and couldn't push myself past that.

I'm enjoying it a lot more now on PC. If you don't know, it's a Souls-like with more technical combat, somewhere between Souls and Ninja Gaiden. There are perhaps too many copy-paste sub-missions and bland environments, almost every story mission feels drab too. The loot system is a distraction and only takes away from the balance while requiring player time to joylessly sort through items. The combat is fun though, and the level design is generally good. I can't escape the want for more Bloodborne, though.

Incidentally, I'm finding it more difficult than Bloodborne or any Souls game (sans the Bloodborne DLC final boss, Dark Souls 2 nonsense dragon boss), I'm perhaps 1/3-1/2 through and got destroyed by some bosses I had to repeat maybe 10 times before winning. There's some real BS and attacks that are instant death unless you build for them. Duels are very difficult too. I feel like I need to make better use of my techniques...

That's still pretty early into the game. You still have a really long way to go.

I'm about 10 hours into Fallout 4 VR on a survival mode run. It's easily the game with the most content so far for VR although there are certainly things about it that I think show Bethesda's laziness. It's a very fun game that I can see myself playing for many many more hours, but I wouldn't strongly recommend it for new VR owners - it's lacking in too many areas, particularly in regards to the adaptation of its interface for VR.

I finished Muv-Luv and am 12 hours into Muv-Luv Alternative; so far I'm really enjoying it. Didn't care much for Muv-Luv Extra but from Unlimited onward it's certainly kept my interest. Not sure I would rate it over Steins;Gate just because of that very weak and long opening arc, and it's still a little too reliant on tropes and archetypal characters. Also suffers from some really, really dumb plot points that bring it down (ie. characters thinking you can die of motion sickness and wanting to give sedatives to an unconscious person). But the characters are endearing despite how much they're based on tropes, and the story has me intrigued in the same way Steins;Gate did (which the game reminds me of), where I just keep thinking 'just one more' chapter.

I also played through Doki Doki Literature Club a few evenings ago. It's a fun visual novel with an interesting premise. It's a bit overly reliant on that premise but I felt that could be overlooked because of its brevity. Also it's free and given its high quality I highly recommend it.

Still in progress - Persona 5. I think I'm fairly close to the end.

^Oh, really? Okay, then.

Any thoughts or comments on Persona 5?

Its still early in the professional gamedev world of VR, after having seen a large pile of horse manure on the DK2 with just a few diamonds (like AirDrift and American/Euro Truck Simulator which was really good) i don't expect much for now, hopefully the community will offer solutions to games that the gamedevs failed to implement, i've heard that FO4VR doesn't have mods and that is a big fail for something that could need fixing really bad.

Myself i don't play much, i logon to some online games, check my auctions and the economy and waste time in the chat. Haven't played much since the previous patch of Fallout 4 that broke my savegame that i had set up a large trade network between the settlements and collected over 50 PAs and built a large hangar for them and had started building a large fort with a fusion reactor for my settlers in Sanctuary. Big downer that made me stop playing since i couldn't be arsed to start over.

Pokemon Ultra Sun & Moon

So far I'm liking it even better than I did Sun & Moon. My specially downloaded Rockruff has evolved into Lycanroc dusk form.

VR has come a long way since DK2 days. I couldn't consider Airdrift or Euro Truck Simulator 2 to be anything but terrible VR experiences by today's standards, totally not worth the effort unless for the latter case you're a diehard fan of the game. Even if they were some of the better experiences back for the DK2, they are pretty awful by today's standards.

Fallout 4 by contrast I feel is one of the best games I've played in VR. It's also very flawed, lazy, and to really get it running well requires far more of the player than I feel should be necessary. I hesitate to recommend Fallout 4 VR for the same reason I recommend Dark Souls or Nier Automata only with caveats; they're pretty terrible ports that require the user to do too much work to get working as they should. Fallout 4 VR is just far more egregious with its issues than either of the other two games I mentioned.

On the Sims 4 Cats and Dogs I created a Sim of Cruella De Vil, the dalmatian parents Pongo and Perdita, and several of their puppies. I could never create all 101 dalmatians or even the parents' fifteen puppies, so I mainly just created a few of the puppies that stood out the most in the animated movie, like Lucky (the runt of the litter who got his name because he was saved from dying at birth) Rolly (the chubby puppy), and Freckles ( a girl puppy whose spots on her snout resemble freckles) I may create some other Disney villains as well and move them into the EVIL Disney Castle I downloaded from someone in the game.

It is pretty good, aint it?

Just be ready to deal with some frustration. It's a roguelike, a genre legendary for it's brutal difficulty. You will lose. Often. If you can keep at it though despite that... you'll get alot out of it.

A tip: Dont be afraid to USE your guns. The game will make ammo seem very scarce. But if you want to do well? Dont stick with your starter weapon for very long. All those crazy guns are there to be used, not stockpiled (heck, it's what the game is all about, after all!). I typically stick with the starter gun for the first floor only (enemies are weak enough there, and the boss isnt that bad) but on the next floor, I start using other guns alot.
