Might also relate to writing, but thoughts on the Witchers?
I've seen some posts by people with HFA or Aspergers about how they are able to strongly relate with the experiences of the Witchers that can also apply to real life for them such as with society, the hardships experienced in the social world and stereotypes. Of Geralt, Lambert, Letho and all of the Witcher crew in general. They even have their own society or home where people like them in the series can sometimes congregate together and take a break away from the world in general, Kaer Morhen.
A post where somebody with autism spectrum talks about this is titled 'Geralt and Me' on reddit.
One of the core points of the series as somebody said is that we should not judge and mistreat people based on what they cannot change. Whether they are a human altered by genetic mutations to the brain/body (Witchers), or other races of intelligent beings. We would like the same thing irl.
P.S Hope I don't sound offensive, but there have been some comparisons people have made about the Witchers in general and Aspergers/HFA (Excluding the 'superhuman strength' part well) such as the mental abilities they have.

hmm no responses so far.
Anyways I can say I very much enjoyed the show, though I think it could be useful to watch again..some things were a little confusing/hard to follow like it was a little confusing how it switched from what was going on with the character currently to things from before. I've also been playing the game Witcher 3, which I am enjoying...I am a bit curious about the earlier Witcher games but it appears they are not on Xbox. I have made it through the main story-line but I got the expansions one of which comes with an entirely new area so still have that to get through now.
That said for me personally I cannot say I relate to the main character that much in regards to autism. But so far it was an awesome show and game....i suppose now I may have to read the book. But yeah I don't find those comparisons offensive at all, just don't quite see it personally. Though I would agree about there being a point of not judging and mistreating people for what they can't change seems quite a few missions in the game bring up that point.
