I have been playing three games lately.
I have been playing Space Engineers, and Star Wars Galaxy (SWG Legends).
The third game is called SCUM. I don't play very often. I mainly log in, maintain my simple hidden base so it does not disappear. The base is very basic. A box for holding some food and cooking stuff. A camp fire for cooking. Another box for holding the essentials for surviving in the game. I rare stay in the game more than 30 minutes. Occasionally, I walk into a near by town, avoid zombies (they call them puppets), and look for luxury items, like axes, knives, clothes, soap, and food items. Guns are part of the game, but I've chosen to keep things simple. If you collect guns, you have to find or make ammunition. I've been down that road, and no thank you. There are other players. I avoid them. If I see one, I stay my distance and let them be. There are teams of people, but I avoid them as well. The game can be very ruthless and violent. I avoid that stuff. Over the weekend I found someone else's chest/box not far from mine. Generally people take what they find. I do not. I placed a stone spear in it. I checked this morning and there were more things removed. I wonder if he/she removed them or if someone else did? The spear was still there. No one found my stash, but it is just a matter of time. Don't collect what one is not willing to lose. It is not a game for young people. It has some very adult items and there can be nudity. The nudity can be "censured" with a game setting. Body parts can be mosaic'd out. I am fascinated by the game mechanics. The premise of the game is people are placed on a large section of land for a reality show. There is even a camera drone that shows up from time to time. I don't know if I would recommend the game or not. As I said, I am fascinated by the game mechanics. My character's name is Blind Geoff. I created him when I had cataracts and was legally blind.
I spent a lot of time on SCUM, but I spend most of my time in Space Engineers or SWG Legends. That is what I've been playing lately.
