How big of a Pokemon fan are you?

Me? Well I'm a big Pokemon fan! I currently have: A Pikachu t-shirt, a "keep calm and catch them all" t-shirt, the digital version of Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Y, A rare Pokemball with a golden Jigglypuff card along with a certificate, a Zekrom and Reshiram figure, the Digital version of the Pokemon trading card game as well as a few Pokemon cards stashed alongside my other trading cards.

So how big of a Pokemon fan are you? You don't really have to have a lot of stuff to show off how much of a determined Pokemon trainer you are.

i still love it. i started pretty much when it first hit USA. sadly, i don't get to watch the anime as much since Cartoon Network now only plays it on Saturday Mornings at 7am... put at least I can play the 3ds games! my fav is Teddiursa.

It seems that Pokémon is quite popular among Aspies. I wonder why that is. I play it as well and completed the National Dex in Y version. I just started a new game in order to pass the time while waiting for Sun and Moon or an update to GBA4iOS that allows it to be played on the latest Apple update.

Well close on hand I have a container with Ruby, Emerald, and Fire Red on GBA, as well as a single case inside the container that has Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Black, Black 2, and Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness, and another case that has Conquest. I keep the container on a bookshelf, which I keep a strategy guide for Yellow version, a guide for Platinum version, Diamond & Pearl Pokedex, Pokémon Platinum strategy guide, Black and White official strategy guide & Unova Pokedex, Black 2 & White 2 Pokedex & Guide, X & Y guidebook and X & Y Pokedex. I keep some small computer equipment nearby on a shelf in a Pokeball like capsule I got a phone strap from (just a small thing I think is a little humorous for how items on the ground look in games). I have plushies including a Cyndaquil and a Substitute, I was happy when I found I could get the particular dolls for bases in Omega Ruby, and a Mega Mawile figure. And of my favourite Pokémon, I have a not too small male Meowstic plush stuck in a standing position, and I have a larger female Meowstic plush and I am very happy with. All of these are on my bookshelf.

Going over to my current gen games, I have a game case in the shape of a Pokeball I got for pre-ordering Y version as well as Y version, Omega Ruby, Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity, and Pokémon Rumble. Other where in my room I have a Pikachu hat that came with Lootcrate. I have a really old Pikachu plush among some random knickknacks, somewhere I have my Pokémon card collection that is pretty much a lot of the pretty old stuff including what I am pretty sure was a fully finished sticker book, and a complete folder holographic cards that came in chip packets years back.

I have not often gone out of way to try and get as much of a Pokedex filled out as possible, I think the last time of that was with Black version I got 294, which does not look like a lot, but I managed to get a large amount of Legendaries. Actually, I think I might set the goal to finally capture all Pokémon when Moon version comes out, Legendary Pokémon are being released this year once a month, so I think that it might actually be doable if I get Pokémon Bank. I will try and pool all of the Pokémon games I played.

I have Pokemon Pearl, Explorers of Sky, Blue Rescue Team, Yellow, Firered, Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and X. I have a Pikachu sweater, an actual Pikachu stuffie [along with Eevee, Glaceon, Umbreon, Combee, Phione, and Piplup], and a huge binder full of rare Pokemon cards. I also watch the movies in Japanese. I also have the guidebooks for Pearl/Diamond, Explorers of Sky, and Platinum.

I believe part of it is because Pokemon's creator and founder of The Pokemon Company, Satoshi Tajiri, is confirmed to be autistic himself (the high functioning end of the spectrum if you want to know the details ). And so naturally many apsies were able to grasp Pokemon's gameplay very easily.

Heck, I myself already hooked to Pokemon if this thread hasn't made it obvious enough!

But I have played Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen some as an adult cause Pokémon Red and Blue was my thing as a kid. I had blue and my brother had red which is funny now that I think about it because he had a red gameboy when I was blue too, eventually he gave me red completely cause he lost interest but he still played the gameboy a little. The thing that turned me off Pokemon was they keep adding more and more pokemon. I think we are at 600 or some crap and thats ok to add once or twice but thats way to many to me. I like the original 151. Why add that much more, they should have at least added more slowly in my opinion.

I don't think I'm *obsessed*, but I do enjoy it. I walk around in an Umbreon hoodie often. It is one of my regular jackets when temperatures are 45 degrees and up. I have a lot of Snivy stuff, and a lot of Snivy in my Pokemon card deck.

The other day my brother found a poster of the ones up to Black and White and was testing if I could identify the Pokémon from hearing its name. I did not do perfectly but I can remember a good portion of them.

Right now I own Sapphire, Leaf Green, Platinum, White 2, X, and Colosseum. I at one point had Heartgold, Emerald, Red and White, but those were lost/stolen. I also constantly have tried the ever painful task of hatching a shiny. I've got boxes and boxes full of Eevees, Ralts, and Riolus. And out of all of those, I only ever got a shiny Ralts. Which is still pretty awesome in my opinion. I've never completed a pokedex, mainly because I suck at collection in video games.

^You could try Horde Battles to get shiny Ralts.

True, but do I have the patience for that? I think I got a shiny Tangela from doing that a while ago though, so maybe I do. Right now I am trying to get a shiny Eevee or a Skitty.
