I got my husband a Wii for his birthday. So far I think I've played it more. Anyway, I got the sports package, and I really like the boxing game. I was wondering if anyone could reccomend other similar games for Wii (like maybe Samurai type games).

oohh!! ! YAY!! !! a wii question!! !! perfect!! sorry, right now wii is my obsession.their is only one samurie game out right now, which is pretty good, "redsteel" it has sword fighting but it's mostly shooting (first person) my favorite game right now would be call of duty 3, it's an easy game with pretty good graphics, it doesn't have any online play or multiplayer but the game is 14 chapters long (thats really long). if your looking for something funny, you may want rayman raving rabbids, you run out of breath at parts throughout the game not because it's a workout but because it's really funny. one game you should avoid is wii play, the only good thing about it is it comes with a free wiimote, which are pretty much impossible to find. blazing angels is just okay in my opinion, it's very hard to control and gets boring. supposedly cooking mamma cookoff is fun and so should warioware smoothmoves, i'm thinking about getting super paper mario brothers today.

Well, I signed up at http://www.gameznflix.com/

So far, I put redsteel at the top of my queue. Followed by Call of Duty 3 (hopefully I will get those 2 soon - I am on the two at a time program). Then as 3rd and 4th I put the Trauma Center Second Opinion and the Rabbids.

Down lower on the list I have Godfather, one of the Mario's, Tony Hawk skating, and a to-be-released Mario, and another to-be-released game called Bust-a-Move Bash.

Good move with Trauma Center. I have Under the Knife for DS and it's fantastic, my friend has Second Opinion and he says it's even better.

I don't own one, but get Super Paper Mario. It seems cool.

With Wiiplay, you should think of it as a free game with a controller, the only game's I like on it are the pool and shooting (but you can be lame ass and 'machinegun' the trigger)

Oooooh...be careful with them. I tried them last year, and had to involve the Better Business Bureau AND my credit card company just to get the service CANCELLED. They have a REALLY bad record with the BBB. For most people that have tried them on a game site I go to, their experience isn't quite as bad as mine, but Gameznflix's service drops off horribly for them after month 3.

I'd really recommend Gamefly.com They're more expensive, but they don't seem to be out to rip people off. There's also (possibly) a way you can get $10 off a month by watching commercials on another site (that's not related to Gamefly, but I guess lets you put credit towards your Gamefly account).

has more info on that. if you're interested. Maybe bookmark it for when Gameznflix starts sending you moldy bread instead of games ;)

Yeah, I think so too. It's the first game that's really made me think I may "have" to get a Wii eventually. I LOVE Mario, like most of the "Mario RPG" type games, and this looks like a neat combination of both. And the way you can flip the 2D world into 3D to get around some obstacles looks so cool!

It's too bad it's not on the Gamecube too, since like...well most Wii games, it would work fine with some minor modifications.

OK, so I've been playing Redsteel, and I am having some coordination issues. Is there an easy way to figure out how to walk around in that game - is there some trick to it?

What did you hate about it? I'm having a really hard time moving around in that game. Are all Wii games like that?

no, that game is just really sensitive, so your guy starts to spin whenever you point the wiimote away.

Yeah, like the old 8-bit Mario? That looks so cool! And I fell in love with it the first time I saw a video of the whole screen twisting around so you get get around 2D obstacles!

Yeahhhh gonna have to recommend Super Paper Mario as well. It's everything that the New Super Mario (DS) wishes it could have been but isn't. I've been debating about getting Wii Play though because of the extra remote...
