I tried some other mod for Fallout (1) and I had the same problem...too buggy...I think half of the features it mentioned wouldn't even work.
well, the restoration project mod works, i managed to finish all the quests BUT
not without some amazing un-freeze trick, cus the game would freeze-up when entering cities, cus of the mod.
the un-freeze trick is tedious and long lasting, so you need some dedication for it
(you gotta go to the save slot folder, and replace the map, that your stuck on, with a base map, from an unplayed game. meaning, if you got a car or npc there, theyre lost forever.)
in the science base (that myron often mentions in the original game) the game would freeze for each level you went to, simply by exiting an elevator. VERY annoying.
it often came down to the too-many-items bug, in my un-modded game, the bug manifests in the skilldex button going black. i can live with that, cus the skills are listed on the number keys on the keyboard. but in the modded version, it manifests in freeze-up's of the game, which is a pity.
you can always leave behind lots of ammo and stuff, but later on in the game, there are so many unique items, that you'd like to keep, youll surpass the item limit easily...
