What are you playing right now?
Binding of Isaac! Just had the single most OP run that I've yet managed. By the late game, I'd fire exactly ONE shot, and every single thing in the room was dead, including almost every possible boss. On the very rare occaision that something (very, very tanky bosses) survived the initial blast, well, I also had blue spiders.... each of which hit with the force of a collapsing star for.... no apparent reason. Only one boss survived the first shot plus a spider.... but it didnt survive a second spider. I dont remember what boss it was. It all happened so fast...
Also, the Squid Sisters' songs are now stuck in my head. Probably for a week at least. I will now make a soundtrack disc for the car. This probably wont help, but I'll bloody well do it anyway.
....and the matchmaker needs to be more patient. If a team has a slot that has no player, it should WAIT just a short time for another one to be available, not go "OH WELL LETS JUST DO THIS" and go anyway... Neither wins nor losses are much fun when the teams are lopsided.
I had the worst match ever during Splatfest...opposing team seriously just rushed across the map and proceeded to repeatedly spawn kill me & my team. Not cool...I hope those players die violently.
Also FINALLY beat Shantae: Risky's Revenge, and both started & beat Kirby Triple Deluxe.

You can beat spawn-campers by simply standing directly on your spawn.... thing. I dont know what it's called. But you're completely invincible when standing on it, even if you had already stepped off of it before.
I've done that before, where the enemy team might have a particular player of the sort that just constantly rushes your base (you've probably seen that sort of player), so I would take up a defensive role (usually with a long-range weapon, and just stand on the base thing, pop him, and then clean up his mess. Rinse and repeat. Often that sort of player absolutely will constantly waste Ink Strikes or something trying to get at me, over and over, not quite grasping the part where it has no effect at all. MY supers, however, would work just fine The more mess the guy makes and thus the more I clean up, the more charged mine gets, and I've typically got something like the Killer Wail or Kracken, the sorts of things that can wreck many opponents at once if used right. Very effective in that situation.
Even a Killer Wail attack cant hurt you when you're doing that. Let alone anything else.
Splatoon, just did the final boss.
Just.... WTF. The game goes with pretty easy and short bosses up to that point, and then you have.... that guy. Longest boss fight I've seen in AWHILE in any game. It got nutty fast, it did. Wasnt expecting it to throw so many THINGS all at once. Didnt lose at all though, but still, just.... yeesh. Loopy.
And now my arm hurts.
EDIT: Okay, no, this REALLY hurts. Cant even hold that controller anymore. Or a variety of other things. I musta been squeezing the triggers just a BIT too hard...

a good plan, if it's only 1 maybe 2 guys but the entire team...plus with my whole team getting killed over & over by the
entire team of douchebags it became difficult for anyone to stay on the spawn point long enough to be invincible.

that final boss really was a pain...I don't even want to think about how much harder he is is when you're using a roller or charger
Hope your arm's okay dood...my hands cramp up after long Wii U play sessions, but I've never had my arm hurt that bad.

Hm, the only real way to deal with THAT is just a massed charge at their base; of course, this only works if the others on the team realize it. Though, as spawn camping is a bloody terrible way to actually get the ground covered in anything (this is why normally it simply doesnt work and most players wont try it), even just ONE of you getting past them could ruin their day by just having free reign of the level. Were it me I'd probably have just dashed at them again and again in that situation.
There's other tricks that might help if you can learn them, like "splat hopping" which I just found out how to do yesterday, among other things. Most opponents dont expect you to be able to move so fast through their ink.
Look at this: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2Nzco ... rX4Rmv9DFQ
Some really darn useful things to be learned here. Many of which can be used to hilarious effect.
As for my arm, eh, it's okay for now. It's annoyingly common for me. Often it's the mouse that sets it off but some controllers can do it too.
WELL I was going to do a bunch of Splatoon....
But suddenly, too many irksome issues at once. First, the damn Arrowana Mall map is up for Turf War (I haaaaaaaaaate that one above all other things in the game), and the the game is sticking me into purely Japanese groups again... actually doesnt happen very often, but when it does, it's nothing but trouble. And by "trouble" I mean "laggy deaths from someone I killed 2 full seconds ago".
And then I made the mistake of, for some batshit reason, choosing a weapon that has the Inkstrike as it's special. WHY I keep doing this, I dont know, since I freaking LOATHE being stuck with it. Doesnt help that some dimwit stuck the "use your special" button on the damn STICK, ugh. Accidentally firing that awful thing = immediate death due to the game's longest fire delay. Mostly this involves the Jet Squelcher since it is A: a squelcher, and B: has the Splash Wall, so I like it in theory.... but it has the Ink Strike. The Custom version doesnt have that, which is a win, but trades the subweapon for the burst bomb, which.... feh. I dont really use it.
I always want to punch any developers that cant get the simple idea of letting the player remap the controls through their thick skulls.
And my arm still hurts. Bah. I suppose it's back to playing Isaac or something for now.
I am playing a lot of Bloodborne mostly. I wasn't expecting the game to have so many things to keep me as excited as I am right now.
First the combat, it just have so much depth to it. A slight change on the way that I use my weapon and my whole playstyle might change as well. There are also so many weapons and although the game almost require that I play mostly with just one until I master it is still fun to switch between them and try some new styles.
The way the story is told is also very nice. Almost none cutscene (or tutorial) is presented during the game and most of the story is told by small details that you might or might not notice while playing. As a big fan of JRPGs and games that have a nice/deep story this is not something that I'm very used to see and enjoy. And the whole lore is just brilliant!
The difficulty aspect is very nice. It's not as hard as some people say, but it is enough to make you feel a small tension during every second that you're playing and the bosses fight are great.
Oh, and the amount of secrets... There's so many places to explore and things that you can completely miss if you don't explore and read the stuff that is spread out on the scenarios.
Since I'm not updating my Wii U for now because I need it on 5.3.2, I can't go to splatoon online yet and enjoy the huge amount of improvements that the game have recieved, so I can't go completely into it right now.
I'm currently playing The Talos Principle. I recommend this game to everyone who loves Serious Sam, Portal, Croteam, and first person puzzle games.
