You're not one of those 2-day vets; where you bought PS1 and a 1-month subscription just last week or whatever, just to get into the closed beta on Day 1, are you?

Playing the original Wing Commander and some Freespace with my new Thrustmaster. One day when I have money I'll get a warthog but this is a nice stick for what I paid (34$ on amazon with 15$ off).

^^ Yaye, may I please ask Ravenitrius, as which happy civilizations do you enjoy playing? I believe that I am very enjoying a little game as the Celts, however I believe that I am not very skilled also.

Right now I'm switching from Skyrim and Dota 2 back and forth.

I'm biding my time until Baldur's Gate Enhanced is released!
Can't wait to see what they've done to it :3

Please tell me Bioware isn't involved in this at all and I might be interested.

And I'm still playing Wing Commander 1, been fiddling with my joystick deadzone in dosbox trying to get things just right. Its so satisfying shooting down a kalrathi fighter.

The companies that made this re-release are small, but they do indeed have connection to Bioware, but as far as I know they aren't actually "part" of it so just for the licence and whatnot. So I don't think we are going to get a 3 colored ending or some ret*d conversation wheel.

Also I'm not sure how they could screw it up considering how the dialog works. Silent character opens up easier access to write good dialog etc.
I'm not sure what they are improving, but 400 something improvements for gameplay. 3 New characters and a new 6 hour long quest.
Also they are doing more voice overs for some vanilla content, plus more detailed story elements here and there.

You can debate weather is it worth to invest 20€ on a re-release, but I think it's worth a shot.
I f*****g loved BG2, but I couldn't get into BG1 as heavily since it felt so hollow in comparison.

I quite like Carthage in the expansion. Particularly on maps with large expanses of water. Even on a Pangaea map naval units are much more important now.

Although the Austria-Hungary Civilization is rather powerful if you have city states enabled
