Okay, some Minecraft today; I'm not entirely sure what happened, because math, but they "rebalanced armor", which means that things hurt now. A shield is a MUST, and even with full iron armor, sword & shield, trying to take on 2 skeletons at once nearly destroyed me... I was very surprised at this and had to hide in a little hole. Healed a bit, killed them, and then ran from a tiny zombie. Them small zombies could be aggravating enough BEFORE the snapshots. Now they're.... worse. After the skeletons, I was like, "Screw that, I'm just leaving now, bye!"

I also discovered not to attack even ONE skeleton in the water. It's not a good idea.

A damn slime kept knocking me around, too. It was getting a little embarrassing, but as things put up an actual fight now.... I cant complain, I really cant. Ya cant just spam attacks anymore! It doesnt work. And armor isnt almighty anymore.

And I'm just not going anywhere near witches. That's a big fat NOPE right now. Not happening. Or skeletons with too much armor, or just enchanted armor.

All in all.... really enjoying the changes so far. Even if they ARE slowing me down quite a bit.

Well I was playing more Raiden 4, but then I had to take a break to BEAT THE #$)% OUT OF THE GODDAMN COMPUTER because it suddenly and randomly dropped the USB connection AGAIN, for about the billionth time. My patience with it has now completely broken.

It's time to save up and replace that heap of crap. I tell ya, a high end gaming rig aint worth much if the dumbasses that set it up DIDNT DO IT RIGHT. It's had screwball problems since day one.

I swear, once I finally do replace it, I'm going to take it outside and hit it with the car. For my own warped satisfaction.

I think the only devices that have ever irritated me more than this stupid thing are all PS2s. Particularly the last one, the TENTH of them. That one ended up in a pond. I was not in a good mood that day. It had it coming.

On the plus side, I havent destroyed anything in anger yet.

I think I'm going to start using the laptop for some of these games instead. It wasnt built by drunken monkeys with hammers.

Yeesh, you and everyone else right now, it seems.

I'm just going to take a wild guess and say that it must have come out pretty well? I aint seen too much of it yet myself, but it sure as heck seems pretty darn popular.

I aint too familiar with the series though.

Okay, I wasnt going to do this yet, but... next up is indeed Super Mario Bros 2... the Japanese one. Lost Levels it is!

I expect that suckage and stupid deaths are about to repeatedly occur. I shall soon know if this prophecy comes true.

Best Mario game: Lost Levels.

I've been playing Crypt of the Necrodancer a lot lately. Awesome fun game. Great innovation. I wish the rhythms were harder though, I hardly ever screw up the rhythm. The Congo boss is a step in the right direction however, but more is needed. Maybe mods. After I'm done playing this game after an hour or two, I feel like I'm still playing it and trying to do everything along with the rhythm, and with the music still in my head.

I'm supposed to play MGS V, but I'm concerned that it won't be challenging enough to keep my mind from wandering, but I'm only at the beginning where everything is far too easy. Is there a hard mode I could trigger somehow? Kinda like in Metal Gear Rising where the secret code unlocks the hardest mode? Die in one or two hits. Well, I like the story in MGS games, except for the long winded parts most of the time. Stealth games are fun, but it can be tedious and slow at times, it can take a lot of patience.

LOL! I know that feeling. It's been several years since I last beat up a computer. I don't know how I learned to be so patient with video games having issues for the past few years... although, if I'm in a really bad mood, sometimes I do yell at my computer if something takes forever to load... I keep thinking, why do I do that? The computer isn't going to load the whatever by yelling at it and clapping my hands and snapping my fingers and making angry face... Better to take deep breaths and relaxation exercises, like isometric exercises for example seem to really help with anger, and builds muscle.

I could use some of this for my Central Nervous System. Magnesium seems to work like this, actually. I feel like all of my insides are filled with Thermal Paste sometimes after eating a lot of spinach and sunflower seeds, feels like sedation.

Lately I've mainly been playing Shandalar on Microprose's Magic The Gathering, as well as Postal 2, easily THE most politically incorrect game ever. :P I've also been checking out Magic Origins, since it's free on Steam. It's buggier than Shandalar, but it allows you to play with the newer cards, and it has a decent tutorial system. I figured I'd try it since one of my friends has been wanting to play MtG with me online, and Shandalar has been an absolute pain to set up. Not to mention, Shandalar is kind of broken for online play since it allows access to all the Power Nine cards.

Splatoon today with a friend.

Of course blasted Moray Towers was up.

This meant that I got to use my exciting and very tactical strategy of "stand in one spot and never move and just keep firing".

That this WORKS says something about that map. And it usually does work. Even an E-Liter cant hit me from where I stand.

So there is some Splatoon today. Or, there WAS GOING TO BE some Splatoon today.

*Ahem*...

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND KITTEN-SHAPED, I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF MORAY TOWERS AND ARROWANA MALL!! !! ! I hate them both sooooooooooo much! Why! WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS UP?!?!? I dont think I've *not* seen Moray in the rotation in the last 2 weeks!

I'll be honest, I'd freaking blast them into the infinite void if I could, never to return to the world of things that dont suck, where they do not belong.

And WHY are they always PAIRED? I cant count the number of times I've gone on, and seen that BOTH maps are in the same goddamn mode. I just. I really. I DONT EVEN.

I need some nukes here! And napalm! THERES NEVER ENOUGH NAPALM!! !! Could use some Godzilla, too!! !

And then I look at ranked mode, and it's goddamn Splat Zones! UGH. It's like the game is saying, "Hey, why dont you just go play more Binding of Isaac instead? I've got this covered."

I shall now take it's suggestion and do exactly that.

And then set everything on fire.

oh god I've had so much caffiene.

Half Life 2, on the PS3 (my first experience of this machine), Orange Box version, on 'Hard' level.

Supposedly better than the old Xbox release, but this version seems to have quite a few bugs.

And stupid damn Bloopers. Have I *ever* had the damn frog suit for more than like 45 seconds at a time? Ugh.

Bloopers can't hit you if you squat on the very bottom of the sea. At least in the first Super Mario Brothers game.

I just did my engineer contract in Team Fortress 2 and it sucked. Accumulating 5 kills on a single sentry is so extremely difficult when there are demomen and soldiers everywhere. The worst part of it was the gun i got. An extremely common revolver in a worse quality than the same one i already have. Bah.

Maybe you've just been amazingly unlucky with PS2s, but I've got five of them, all bought second-hand, and now all eight to fourteen years old. I've had one controller failure, one machine has had a problem with reading blue discs, and there's been a bit of a loose-connection issue with a slimline console, but otherwise they've been super-reliable.

Lol, hope this doesn't count as 'invalidation'. :D
