I just started Skyrim! I do love a big, one-player RPG! I can grab the strategy guide for $10... I hope that doesn't ruin the fun though.
Noo, that would ruin it.
I played morrowind a few years ago, i kinda cheated slightly by stealing crap within the game and making a ton of money, then paid for skill ups instead of playing the game to get the skills up. I felt like i utterly cheated the game even though in actual fact i was playing by the rules of the game. As ive found with every other time ive cheated at a game, it utterly ruins it.
It's like reading the last page of a book... A game is only new once and it's that first time through where you get all the fun, the surprises, the things you never expected to see. I mean, it's a game about wandering around and discovering things and you're considering a guide? When you find something as good as skyrim you need to take your time and savor it, make the most out of every moment. Don't take it for granted
