Most people (myself included), when we talk about gaming, tend to use abbreviations because you can say a lot more in a much shorter time than when you don't. The problem is that when talking about and mentioning games, there's bound to be cases where we don't understand the game-specific abbreviations used.

Therefore I suggest that we spend and extra minute and write ... as well as the abbreviation ... the whole word (f.ex. in parantheses).

*******

MMOs I play:

WoW (World of Warcraft)
... on a daily basis.

Singleplayer games I play are:

Oblivion
... (I have it's predecessor Morrowind, but I never got around to really playing it).

Fallout 3
... I've only recently acquired this game, but I love it already, having only played it twice so far. As with many other singleplayer games I favour the PC version.

Hitman
... I have them all, and the last one I have for both PC and Xbox360.

Dragon Age: Origins
... I've not yet finished this game. I intendedly play it slow to savour the experience.

Despite it's age Morrowind is SUCH a good game, the gameplay can't stand up to Oblivion but the story is so much better :).

Can't say I have a favorite right now. UT3 was my favorite for a while but my computer has been crashing too much during 3D gaming to play much at all, it even crashed a couple times today from youtube.

I have been playing Ancient Domains of Mystery a lot lately, but I could never call it a favorite. If anything I would have to say I hate it because it's the only game I can play for 8+ years and not beat.

Elder scrolls oblivion, picked it up this weekend when the game of the year was on sale for 8 dollars, and have been subsequently modding the crap out of it ever since. it's great.

I'm playing Fallout 3 again, hence why I'm off and on a lot now.

(Mods, mods and more mods version :D )

I'm currently engrossed in Red Dead Redemption, it's a sweet game with a great story and an incredible level of detail. I really hope that Rockstar integrates some of the neater features into any upcoming GTA games, it shares some gameplay elements with them but with a flavor all it's own. I also really like the time they chose to set the game in, 1911 when the Wild West was coming to an end and cars and horses are used side by side. I'm of course also thrilled to see some pretty obscure period weapons in there; Borchardt automatic or Lemat revolver anyone?

Have you encountered any of the crazy glitches: flying people (substituting birds), donkey woman, bucking cart, etc?

My favourite game is - will likely always be - Half Life, as well as it's expansions, sequels, etc.
