Back in my day, Link's Awakening didn't have any colors.

Same here.

It's disorienting/confusing to see it in color. Doesnt look right to me. Same with Wario Land 2. Just bugs me for whatever reason.

Back then we didnt have colors and we liked it that way, dagnabit!

And controllers always had wires, and games had pixels as big as cats!

Last night I started playing a mobile game on my tablet that's similar to Pandemic or Plague Inc, except that instead of creating a disease to destroy the entire human race, you only kill one person at a time. I started out with a person who is overweight, a couch potato, a junk food addict and a smoker, so he was definitely for beginners, but then I unlocked a patient who was a hypochondriac and is more resistant to physical disease but his mental health is fragile, and then I unlocked then a patient who is young, healthy, and active.

I killed off the healthy patient by making the patient "unlucky", and the doctors as incompetent as possible - they started using ineffective placebos on him, then I upgraded it to poisonous stuff like expired medicine, made them give him the wrong diagnosis, and then when he was in emergency I had the nurses AND doctors go on strike and one of the surgeons basically went spastic with their scalpel.
Muhahahha.

You can even make up a name for your victim. One name I used was General Sneezecough.

Back to playing Far Cry 4... trolling enemy outposts armed only with a bow is a art.

Tomb Raider on the PS4. From what I have discerned so far, the game has excellent visuals and exciting gameplay.

Playing Binding of Isaac.

Now that Afterbirth is out, there are new unlocks! One of them for each character is gotten by defeating Mega Satan, a boss with 10 squillion HP that fires a zillion bullets and is generally a pain in the butt, provided you even get the key to access his room. And I want to unlock all the cool items in the game, of course. I go to a ton of trouble preparing for the fight, since I know how it can sometimes go south real fast (which happened last time I attempted it), the run takes absolutely forever as a result, particularly because I entered THE WRONG DAMN HOLE after picking up the Polaroid; I wont try to describe the next part of the process but I had to use the Error Room to reach the final area. I get there, after ALL OF THAT, 100 freaking minutes into the run, I fight him, and what a fight it was, finally he goes down, and....

....it unlocks a multiplayer baby. A MULTIPLAYER BABY. Instead of an actual item. It... just.... he... why would they...

I knew that someday I would have a reason to play a Wii U game using only the gamepad, and that day finally came when I broke my glasses and couldn't see clearly more than six inches in front of my face and the jagoff optometrist told me it would take five days (!) to schedule me for an eye exam so I can get a new pair.

I know what you mean. Many years ago I was having serious issues with my eyesight, and I spent about a month just playing GBA and watching DVDs on my laptop, until my vision started to return >_<

Somehow placed first in every race in the Star tournament in 100cc mode. That's new for me.

Also going back and collecting missing green stars in Super Mario 3D World. YouTube walkthroughs are coming in handy there. Some of them are annoyingly cryptic.
