Picked up a strategy board game called Armello on a whim. The art is gorgeous.

Trying to learn how to play Daggerfall. It's definitely a mixed bag, but very interesting all the same. The tutorial maze is giving me flashbacks of Hexen.

The SNES game?

I was real disappointed with that one, the original PC Engine version is way better =(

Just finished Doom 2 on the Xbox 360 BFG disc. Overall excellent game, but the final level, Icon Of Sin, took a little of the gloss off it. Why do some developers opt for this sort of gimmicky, 'tacked on' type of ending, so out of keeping with the spirit of the rest of the game and resembling something one might encounter at a fairground? I got through it by using a pretty drastic repeated saving strategy, otherwise it would have taken forever.

As I recall, both Half Life games and HL Opposing Force had similar rubbish endings.

Well it was the only Castlevania game I thought of playing as of that time and I don't know much about the PC engine version.

Also, it had really awesome soundtrack to accompany it!! ! 8)

^I suggest Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Aria or Sorrow.

Yeah, I've never been able to beat that level without cheating. Either I've been doing it completely wrong, or I have no idea what id was thinking =)

The alpha version of Quake had a really terrible final boss, too. I'm glad they changed it in the final version, but I still was too dumb to figure that puzzle out without looking it up >_<

It's really good, but it's a CD game, so it's a little bit harder to set up. Playing as Richter gets pretty difficult towards the end, but if you can unlock Maria, it's a lot easier with her. Symphony of the Night picks up right where it ends.

Is your old 3DS modded, or is ACNL just a digital game you never transferred over or something?
