Thanks for the input people.
I am veering more towards the 360 Jaspar model. I think the main thing that would have drawn me to the ps3 is the free online play plus Final Fantasy which I have long been a fan of. But I can still play a good number of those on my ps2 I guess.

the xbox has better online services, and has the potential to increase the memory size to as big as you can afford if you can find a Plug'n'play external harddrive, (ones that don't need drivers to use) also the Xbox now has a Skyplayer Feature released yesterday (5/10/09) so if you subscribe to Sky Multiroom you can use the feature at no extra charge, also a FF game will be coming to the 360, along with a MGS game and there is also the impending Release of project Natal, which uses your body as a controller which WAY more powerful than the Wii.
the Xbox also has the exclusive GTA content, the lost and the damned and the ballad of gay tony whereas the PS3 doesn't

Stupid American garbage rrod last night the alarm bells where set off on day one when out of the box the controller creaked and groaned never have I had a noisy controller even my 20 year old Mega Drive controller (Genesis to Americans) which has been used and abused to the extreme is silent and faultless in use. Am I alone ?

Now I get to experience the joys of Micro sucker customer service, will it get "lost|" in the mail , will they make it "void" of warranty will I really get a "refurbished machine" or a "vocher' of sorts.

Seriously I can't even believe that people are accepting of this business practice ... I don't think I've ever seen such people who don't care that they got screwed by a corporation - now I understand how Bush got voted in a second time. Complacency. Well I hope you enjoy laying there and taking it.


I guess it must be true when it is said Sony is a quality hardware company, Micro sucker a software company and Nintendo a entertainment company for lameoids (sorry Wii is a bit of a joke)


Was Marge Simpson on to something when she's in a home ware store picks up an item with "Made in America" groans makes a sound and discreetly puts it at the back of the shelf. Well that's been my experience |I'm sure Americans are capable of making a quality product at a reasonable price .

My point?

The Xbox is a PC in a box that runs DirectX like Windows. If you're persuaded by the Eggbox, get a gaming PC - or the PS3
