Super Smash Brothers Brawl....

Roleplayers aren't really gamers' games because you could play them pnp if you had to.

I used to have a Wii. I won one at work back when they were super hard to find (early 2007). I bought and beat Twilight Princess and then went to buy a new game. I couldn't find any I wanted. So I waited a couple months. Still nothing was out or announced either. I waited another month and then traded it straight up for a PS3 and haven't been happier. I own an Xbox 360 and a PS3 and play all the games I want. To this day, there isn't a single game on the Wii that I consider a system seller. Metroid: The Other M may change that, but there's nothing right now.

I play Mario Kart Wii nearly all the time. Probably because the GCN controller can be used.
The Wii isn't bad, but Nintendo is aiming more at casual gaming now. It is also so easy to hack if your Wii's version is 4.2 or under. I hacked it to play emulators with the Wii remote and GCN controller.
Ok, I'm not too fond of buying Wii games, however. I tend to play the same two or three games all the time.

For some real hardcore gaming, there is the Xbox and stuff.

dude how can you all say the wii has s**t graphics??? i got a wii for christmas and I ordered dead space extraction and that has awesome graphics, they almost look as good as the dead space on the 360. anyway who cares about the graphics, it's all about the gaming, i recommend Dead Space: Extraction and resident evil 4, the reason you probably all hate it is because you're probably playing rubbish games like mario games, they used to be good but now it seems nintendo just bodge a mario game up and sell it. face it, nintendo have no originality when it comes to making games. only the console is original lol

If you still hate the wii after playing them, quit your whinging and go out and buy a ps3 and(or) xbox 360, both if affordable. then i strongly suggest buying these games:

Assassins Creed 1 & 2
Dead Space
All 4 Metal Gear Solid Games if you have a PS2 aswell hopefully << My favourite games!! !
Killzone 2 (and 1 if you got a PS2)
Operation Flashpoint
Call of Duty Games (These are overrated alot! I would only suggest buying if you like to play online, they don't have good campaign missions!)
Bioshock
Mass Effect
Resident Evil Games
Oblivion
Fallout 3
Infamous
Halo 1, 2 and 3 (ODST and Halo Wars is s**t, do not buy!)(Actually ODST does add a bit more to the story if your into it but if not don't buy, Halo Wars is s**t period!)
Devil May Cry

By the way, before I get slated for my OPINIONS or for not putting Gears Of War XD on the list let me just say that these games I have listed are just my OWN OPINION, it's not a fact that these games are awesome, so don't start moaning at me. However, it is a FACT that the Metal Gear Solid series is the best series of games ever! you cannot argue with that!! ! ;)

I can, but I'll behave myself and leave it alone.

The Wii is good for one reason alone.

Contra Rebirth.

Played it back at my folk's place during Thanksgiving. I love that game.

Very unlikely. EA Active came out first.

I usually use DS/PS2 games for my hardcore games and my wii for the fun ones that I can play with my family. There are some harecore(ish) ones on the wii I loved. I personally love Super Paper Mario is, as is the Mario Galaxy one (I only rented twice, but REALLY want to buy...if only I can remember the name :P). My sister loved the Zelda one, but I thought it was tedious and I got lost so many times it was not funny (I even tried using hints on the net to help me get on track, but I was so lost!)
The New Super Mario Bros Wii is okay, fun to play with the family, but the ds version is so much longer and more difficult.

EDIT: The Wii Motionplus really helps with the finickiness of the wii remote, but it only works for a limited amount of games right now.

IMO Nintendo went down hill after SNES. Each new system they come out with has less and less fun games.

Here here ;)

I see the Wii as a family console, and it is pretty good for livening up family gatherings. But for proper gaming, I'll stick to my PS3 and PC.

For the Wii, if you want to really laugh your butt off, play the "Raving Rabbids" games (1, 2, and TV Party). Im not going into details, but Ive never seen so many people laugh so hard in my life because of that game series. But, I do agree that the Wii needs some more serious minded games for the older crowds (having family and adult oriented content is good for everyone).
