Still Thief 2, I don't expect that will ever change =/

Though I'm currently replaying Thief Gold, and I don't dislike it quite as much as I did the first time. I think Thief 3 probably has something to do with that :x

You should try System Shock 2, then ;) That game seriously scared the pants off of me several times...the midwives and the butler robots (or whatever they were) especially.

The zombies in the first Thief game are super scary too (I laugh at those who said Cradle in Thief 3 was scary), but after a while, you just get annoyed by them and wish for it all to be over.

But yeah, if you love the story, you definitely need to check out the rest of the "Looking Glass" games. It's a standard they've been upholding for a couple of decades now, regardless of which company banner they fly.

Warren Spector recently moved over to Disney and he's working on a Wii game called Epic Mickey, which should be very interesting o_O

I'll definitely be giving Epic Mickey a rent, at least. Reinventing Mickey Mouse with a shadowy undertone? This I have to see.

Finally managed to get into Sword of the stars (with all the expansions)

Didn't like it when It came out. But now I see it more as a 4x wargame then a 4x space strategy game its a much more enjoyable experiance

Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 2 for me. Fallout is just an excellent game, in that it gives you a massive explorable map, lots of interation with npcs, a compelling storyline, and a very convincing atmosphere: to stay alive, you have to scavenge, loot, manage resources carefully, and essentially think like a survivor. Mass Effect 2, similarly, has a great storyline, great graphics, and as far as controls and action go, it is straightforward and fun.

Additional nods, though, have to go to the Orange Box and Assassin's Creed, and Sonic 2 and Earthworm Jim will always hold special places in my heart.

Dragon Age: Origins

I can't stop playing it, I have every achievement unlocked already but playing an Arcane Warrior is so much freaking fun.

If it is in terms of which game I've played most frequently in the past week it would be a tie between Audiosurf and Demon's Souls.

First and foremost, Dwarf Fortress, then in no special order the various iterations of Élite, UFO (and TFTD, Aftermath, Aftershock, Afterlight, LSN), Alpha Centauri (with Alien Crossfire), Vampire: Bloodlines, MTW1 and the Combat Mission series, oh, and GalCiv2 and Silent Storm; at the moment I'm alternating between DF and Stalker: Call of Pripyat.

*ahem*

Ive been switching between C&C: RA3, Dawn of War II, Dragon Age: Origins, and Supreme Commander (Cannot wait for SupCom II). However, i know i need to upgrade my computer (currently 3000+ AMD Athalon 64) because some of these games will get hung up (video is a Nvidia Geforce 9800, so that isnt the issue, plus 1.5 GB Ram).

Got pretty addicted to Divinity II:Ego Draconis and the ever-popular StarCraft.

I decided to play StarCraft through again to get ready for StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty
