This is going to sound lame, but I've finally caved into peer pressure =/
It's been about 12 years since I last played Pokemon Red, and now I'm getting back into it again for some reason >_< I'm playing the GBA remake...if I manage to finish it, I'll probably finally try out Crystal or something.
Maybe I'll even check a FAQ and figure out where the heck I am in Sapphire and where I was supposed to be going next...haven't touched the thing in ages
Also found myself in a mood for some mindless FPS action, so I've decided to finally give Call of Duty 2: Big Red One a shot. I thought Return to Castle Wolfenstein was fantastic (except for the final boss), and this game is by the same devs, so I figured why not? It's not quite as good, and it's a completely different style of gameplay, but it starts to pick up after a while.
Only thing I really don't like about it (besides not being able to use a mouse) is that half the time you don't know when the game wants you to kill all the enemies before your squad can move out, and when they're just spawning endless enemies, waiting for you to move onward yourself. Probably most of my deaths are when I get careless and just move forward without clearing the area

nobody commented on Hello Kitty 4... is there even a game about hello kitty???
There's a few. There's one for the Famicom called (in the English translation) Hello Kitty World that's not bad. It's a port of the Gameboy Game Balloon Kid, which is a sequel to the NES's Balloon Fight, which I've always liked for some reason.
No idea why Nintendo didn't just release Balloon Kid for Famicom themselves as it was...but it's prettymuch the same game, just some of the graphics look different.
