I didn't play Shadow of the Comet but I played it's sequel, Prisoners of Ice ; both are point'n click adventure games. But they are only for computers (and old ones  ).

Eh, kind of...except there's no pointing and clicking in Shadow of the Comet...which takes some getting used to, I kept instinctively grabbing the mouse and finding it useless =)

I'm sorry but I have to challenge you on this.

Condemned 2 was a joke, Condemned: Criminal Origins far surpasses the sequel in terms of fear factor and atmosphere.

The only part in the second game that had me even a little on edge was the grizzly attack in the lodge, and the latter half of the game was beyond ridiculous once you get that dumb hadouken-shouty power and you end up in some half life 2 inspired sci-fi tower.

Clock Tower is a pretty decent survival horror... Actually it's the first real survival horror game. I've played the original SNES version. Its dated but still pretty good.

Well, that and Alone In The Dark. I've been watching vids of Clock Tower recently, and my god. I'm glad I didn't play it as a kid, I would've been scarred for life.

I've been meaning to play the first Condemned. The sequel was great in my opinion, but idk maybe the first is better.

It is better, the only gripe I had with it were the "special" doors which could only be opened with a certain type of weapon.

But the final boss battle in the first is soooo much more satisfying and much more pantswetting than the cakewalk that was the seconds "Boss" battle.

Funny that you would mention this, I was actually able to give my older sister recurring nightmares after she watched me play clock tower 3.

Another vote for Project Zero/Fatal Frame...great stuff.

And yeah, the first Condemned is really creepy. I never bothered with the sequel, because I've generally heard it's rubbish, so I don't wanna waste my time with it.

I do kinda like the Silent Hill games, but I find them kinda...boring really. Any indoor parts usually creep me out majorly, but once you're outside in the fog? Zzzzzz.

Hi! OP here. (: Thanks for all the replies! I really appreciate it!

I'm really close to beating Bioshock now, so I want to get my new game soon - That's why I created the thread.
So... I estimate that I've got about a week (maybe 2) left - only a few hours of play to go but, since I'm starting summer classes and a new job on tuesday, I have to be realistic about my free time.

So! Point is, the time is getting closer to where I should make a decision. And a ton of these sounded/looked uber great!

But, monkeywrench in the works:
This last week, my younger sibling has been home from school and, though Bioshock scares her too much to watch, she's fine with RE. She's a strange kid.
So... I'm playing through RE4 (a third time!) on hard now since she's home so often and I can't bust out Bioshock with her in the room. Still love it, of course. Trying to use only my handgun for the most part to make it more exciting. But... though playing twice through is understandable for a great game, 3 times... Well, it just seems a itty bit starved/desperate to me.

However, playing through RE4 again after a while apart has made me realize...
I really miss the easy controls/great game combination of RE wii. And wow did/does it spoil me.

I know the Wii isn't a very well respected (serious) gaming console in some circles but, well, I was kind of spoiled by the awesome, straight-forward controls that it offers: walk with the stick, just aim, pull the trigger and BANG! Head shot. No messing with aiming (using one or more controls sticks like on ps2 or 360) while trying to find cover for myself at the same time. I mean, I can do that but... the ease of the Wii controls for shooting zombies/baddies is just so much more immersive: the point-shoot evokes more natural reflexes than other console's gaming controls... If that made any sense. Hahaha.

So... Anyway. In light of these recent revelations, does anyone know of any good Wii SH games? If not Survival-horror, then at least good wii shooters? I know I ask for a lot - possibly the nonexistent.

I don't really see much in terms of SH for the Wii. You've probably already played the best SH on the Wii.

There is a Fatal Frame and Silent Hill game on the Wii. Doubtful they'll play like RE4 though but probably worth looking at if you want to stick with the Wii.

Obscure: The Aftermath is a good survival horror on the Wii. I played it through with a friend and we both really enjoyed it.

Well there's a game based off of Ju-On: The Grudge for the wii, I suppose that could be pretty creepy.

FOr PC, i also recommend Half-Life, Aliens vs Predator (all three would scrae the crap out of you . . . which is why in the original version, they came out with a package with a deal for big dog underwear because chances are you would end up messing a few while playing    ).
