I'd like to play on MAME, but I'm having a lot of problems installing it on my computer.

Unlike yourself, I don't have the space for arcade machines. My interest in retro-gaming is limited to emulators and computers/consoles from the 80s/90s; the Commodore VIC-20 and the Sega Game Gear are the ones I'm most passionate about.

I wish.

Like I said, I'd love to build a MAME cab some day, but I don't have the money or a place to keep it. I was thinking of doing a cocktail one so I can sit on one end for vert games and the other end for hor games, but it's just an idea...the other alternative is to make a screen for an upright that can rotate, but I saw online a guy who had built one that way, and he said it's a total pain.

I think my favorite arcade game is probably Sega's Bank Panic. I don't know why, I just think it's great, and I wish I didn't suck at it so bad.

ok sry i didnt see ur other post.. yea i wish i had room for more but im currently maxed out, the bad thing is i can get hundreds of more parts but the hardware of the early games made it nearly impossable to interchange the internals... which means it was prepatory hardware of that day to prevent copyright theft...

You need to get Dayatona and Sega Rally and than invite me to your place for a session, seriously I've just gone to my "newly refurbished" Timezone and man did it suck they got rid of Dayatona 8O the writing was on the wall i suppose when they'd gone from 6 cabinets to 2 than zilch , Rally their was no warning they just got rid of it, :o

Game centres today are nothing more than rhythm and gambling centres is that what kids really want these days. :?

I wish I hadn't charged my power card  it was a "school holiday special" charge $ 30 get $ 15 free.

* todays Timezone kiddies tomorrows pokies problem gambler ?

I'm surprised some one so young could be so keen on the Delorean kinda ugly with sticky controls. Most kiddies these days seem to be interested in M (BMW) Call of Duty or Subaru WRX (Halo)

Lucky for me I can appreciate all games on the merits, though I draw the line at the garbage at family entertainment centres , rollers coaster Sims at $ 5 bucks a pop are the Faux modified Japanese faux Rolls Royce at 1/10 the price . rhythm games are the Hyundai of this worlds , remains popular for reasons I do not understand and continues to grow so over the years. (in Europe their are way better options for similar money such as Fiat Panda or Renault Twingo for similar money. Gambling simulators such as "deal or no deal" not sure what vehicle that would be ?

Anyway i think those retro games have charm :) , the 80's those where the days except they weren't they kinda sucked for me .
