I think the first game for DOS was released as freeware, but I'm not certain.

Hmm, maybe it wasn't, I can't find anything about it online. I guess it was only for this gaming mag I bought a long time ago.

oh it wasnt the first one, it was a CD and maybe m&m IV or V?

dunno, just remember a big red dragon on the cover...

never worked out how to make the flying boots work either, jumped off a tower and killed my character loads of times trying to work it out.

back in those days i wasnt much of a gamer (still not really now i guess) and i dont htink i did much more then clear out the nearest towns and a few castles, the dragons were way too hard for me as was this misty area full of ghosts and things

last two games ive played are obliviion and devil may cry (4 i think?) ... that reminds me, i dont think ive finished DMC yet....

I agree wth you KaiG , it is a good RPG to play
