OoT for me.
Twilight Princess certainly tried new things. But at the same time that it prevailed, it failed. Over-linearity, over-use of the same enemies in most of the areas and the same affects dungeons (This slightly affected Wind Waker, too, but I much prefer this game, as it had many more small dungeons and islands to make up for it. It was much more of an adventure game to me.). It was very much, "go here, do this," which bothered me. I enjoyed playing it through the first time, but the fact that dungeons offered very little challenge and depth to them was disheartening. The bosses and many other moments, however, were very cinematic, though some dramatic scenes seemed forced at times. Loved the voice acting and the characters. Just not as much as OoT. And finally, there was little exploration, probably because of the aforementioned linearity. No real difference between areas in the overworld, and not a whole lot hidden there. Even when you get to the desert, it's just an empty expanse with only one or two secrets. Definitely not worth exploring. And that affected the difficulty even more, honestly. Almost all heart pieces and other collectibles were either just in plain view but you would need another item to get to it, or stupidly overly-hidden like the golden bugs.
Well, that's just what I found wrong with it. It's a good game. The main problem being that it can't hold my ADHD for very long anymore. =P
