Ocarina of Time, for not so obvious reasons.

Throwing aside everything else, because it was an early N64 game, when you get down to it, Ocarina of Time is a lot more fun as it has so many coding loopholes that can be exploited and glitches to be accessed.

One of my high school friends figured out how to skip the Deku Tree. In Smash Bros Brawl, in the OoT demo of 5 minutes' length, he was able to get to the Master Sword in that amount of time. 8D

Oh, and who can forget the Reverse Bottle Adventure!! !

I grew up with OoT.

If I tried to play Twilight Princess right now; I wouldn't have enough time to sleep.

Neither, I prefer the 2D ones like Oracle of Seasons and Link to the Past but if I had to choose, I would go with Ocarina of time for the music.

I love Ocarina of Time but Twilight Princess will always be my favourite. I just loved the dark themes, semi-realistic graphics, the soundtrack and in my opinion Midna is one of the greatest characters ever created by Nintendo.

My general opinion:

While Twilight Princess clearly took advantage of the superior capabilities of the Wii, and it's dungeon designed showed, ultimately I think OoT did a better job with the tools it had available to it.

As interesting as Twilight Princess was, the world didn't feel as mysterious as LTTP, OoT, MM, or even Wind Waker did. All of those games captured that mysterious feeling you normally get exploring a Zelda world. The latest two titles, Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess, have somehow just not enraptured me with the atmosphere the same way the others have.

I really liked Twilight Princess as well. The soundtrack and environments in the game were stunning. The story was good, and the game play was not bad either.

I liked the darkworld visuals of Twilight Princess but found the actual game very hard to get into. I still prefer Link To The Past and Link's Awakening for my Zelda games but I'd say I enjoyed Ocarina more than TP and yeah I prefer Wind Waker's style.

I like Ocarina of time the best and I beat the whole game but don't get the ending.

OoT for me.

Twilight Princess certainly tried new things. But at the same time that it prevailed, it failed. Over-linearity, over-use of the same enemies in most of the areas and the same affects dungeons (This slightly affected Wind Waker, too, but I much prefer this game, as it had many more small dungeons and islands to make up for it. It was much more of an adventure game to me.). It was very much, "go here, do this," which bothered me. I enjoyed playing it through the first time, but the fact that dungeons offered very little challenge and depth to them was disheartening. The bosses and many other moments, however, were very cinematic, though some dramatic scenes seemed forced at times. Loved the voice acting and the characters. Just not as much as OoT. And finally, there was little exploration, probably because of the aforementioned linearity. No real difference between areas in the overworld, and not a whole lot hidden there. Even when you get to the desert, it's just an empty expanse with only one or two secrets. Definitely not worth exploring. And that affected the difficulty even more, honestly. Almost all heart pieces and other collectibles were either just in plain view but you would need another item to get to it, or stupidly overly-hidden like the golden bugs.

Well, that's just what I found wrong with it. It's a good game. The main problem being that it can't hold my ADHD for very long anymore. =P

Ocarina of Time. Playing that as a kid just felt so epic. It was a grand adventure, and I loved every second of it.

I remember playing all Zelda titles by Nintendo up to the year 2000.
I beat the original several times including the master quest.
Beat Adventures of Link, and it is by far the most challenging Zelda game out there. A Link to the Past I beat several times and had my most fun with that game during my pre-teens. The Gameboy Zelda game was also pretty challenging too (the final boss battle in the egg took me days to finally beat.)
No Zelda game came out for five years, then Ocarina of Time came out. It was the perfect Zelda game, and I easily spent the most time on that game compared to any other Zelda game. I even bought the Master Quest disc for the GameCube and beat that as well. After beating it the first time, I probably looked up every cheat I could to find all the heart pieces that I didn't know how to find, and other hidden areas I could not find on my own. I replayed this one several times back when I was 13-14 years old. Ocarina of Time was just that damn good. I did not have the use of the internet for previous games.
I loved Majora's Mask too, until the final boss battle against Majora's Mask and I had a hard time taking that boss seriously (especially with the background music).
The Windwaker was a one time play for me. It just didn't have the appeal to me and the Sailing seemed too much like a chore for me. I beat the Minish Cap for the GBA as well, and I could have played that again since I enjoyed how different the plot for that game was compared to every other game in the series.
Finally, I get to Twilight Princess. I played it on the Gamecube. I actually really enjoyed playing it and it probably took me about 6 days to beat it though. It was the shortest amount of time I ever spent on a Zelda game. I don't even think I played more than 40 hours and I actually got all the heart pieces if I remember correctly. I liked the plot for this the best since it was kind of dark. I didn't like the lack of challenge the game had. I didn't end up replaying it much after, and I only got about halfway through the game on the second go around.

I know this was a little long winded, but I get carried away on some topics and I apologize. I see others in here did too. To answer the question, I pick Ocarina of Time.

That would have to be Twilight Princess for me. Why can't I find my Gamecube controllers? I've wanted to replay it for a few days.

OoT Is also one of my favorites, and I love the music in it. :3

I didn't get much of a chance to play Ocarina of Time so I'll go with Twilight Princess because I've played that one.
