I love old games. Most of them are simpler, and I like that.

same. I remember when nes came out. I used to load games off my hard disks in dos. I loves dos still.

i hate dos to much of a headache to go through dos, i'd rather let the computer install the game itself and click on a icon to run it, simple and quick.

Dont be hating on dos. Quickmenu must have been more up you alley.

I remember the good old days of sitting in the computer lab at my school and the it techer had this new set up called windows. Back in those days you had to load windows through dos.

I still get injoyment from the original maio bros game. bopping the turtles underneath then kicking them. original sim ant and sim city. jazzy jack rabbit. And convincing my dad to let me play doom and decent. Oh Raptor. I may pull that out later today.

i don't miss those days one bit, back then though games were simple, but me my mom and my bro went through hell installing megarace through dos, took us all day and even then it still didn't run all that well.

if we would have known a bit more it might have been easier, but i say windows is made for people like me, cause if i had to install the whole sims 2 through dos or any game i wouldn't play games on the computer. i can't use dos worth crap, it looks as complicated as scripting in games.

Every so often, I will enjoy a nice game of Doom, Transport Tycoon Deluxe, Or Outpost.
The the arcade classics are always great in their true (insert coin) form like Asteroids, Tempest, Pac-man, Ms Pac-man, Galaga, Dig-Dig, Pole Position,
or... Gauntlet ("Green elf needs food bady"..."geen elf is about to die"" ahhh.. good times)

Yes, I have been playing point-and-click adventure Grim Fandango, the open-source version of Elite, Oolite, and Star Control 2. The last two are both available for linux.
