I don't think I would enjoy the system because there might not be any good games for it... I felt that way about the psp. I felt like most of the games sucked.
I've gotten bored of the D.S (I got a DSiXL) but can't sell mine cause it has pictures and other cool things I've done on there.
I have the remake of Disgaea 3 for the vita of course, but its questionable if I will ever get the system. XP

I have one, but the games are a trickle so far.

Awaiting for some Sony/SEGA goodness.

I think I like the idea of the Vita more than I may like it. I'm not sure. We'll see when it drops in price. Though, like most systems, I'll probably only be able to get it once the newest one comes out.

You know, I hear the memory card concerns, but on the flip side at least it HAS a memory card slot. It could have been like the Go, which, if I remember right, had no slot for that at all and only came with 16gigs installed memory.

I think one game I'm looking forward to, though, would be Ragnarok Odyssey, the Monster Hunter-like game inspired by Ragnarok Online.

As for the rest, I really haven't been looking at many, mainly since I don't have the money for it (Just like the 3DS.). And, honestly, isn't the backwards compatibility thing always been a moot point, considering we most likely already OWN the previous console? I know I will be keeping my PSP when I finally get a Vita. Well, that's my decision, at least.

Does anyone know any methods on how to download free videos for the PS Vita (that are not from the Japanese site Oretube)?

You must know what I mean.

No idea what you mean, but here:

Video converter for .avi and .mkv files. Download those, convert to .mp4 and you'll be able to transfer them to your vita. Works surprisingly very well.

I think that one's out already.

Anyone want to post a few of their favorite games? Would be interesting to see what you guys think the 'must-have's' are.

Personally I recommend Uncharted: GA, Rayman Origins and Need for Speed: MW (if you like racing games). Great games with a lot of content.

I dunno whether I'd want it; I have heard a few more negative reviews than positive.

It's not a bad device at all.

I think the main issue is that it's not a very popular device at the moment. It has plenty of good games though.

It'll be a collectors item at this rate.

Maybe when the price comes down. I'd only shell out $250 if there were some must-have games on the market. Then again, maybe there are, I just haven't played them yet.

Not popular? I wonder why, though.....

Couple of things:

1. Price - too expensive initially. They made a bold move trying to match the 3DS on price, but unfortunately they took a gamble and Nintendo immediately responded by dropping their prices on the 3DS even further. And Sony had kind of used their 'trump card' too early and it screwed them over.
2. Overpriced additional memory cards. Bunch of dicks charging like $60 for a 32gb card.
3. Overshadowed by the 3DS. Unfortunately Nintendo has an enormous fanbase for games like Mario, Pokemon and others (despite minimal innovation with each new title), plus the child market. While the vita had plenty of great games coming out they didn't have anything that would really capture a huge audience the way that massive Nintendo franchises would have.

and 4... well now they're just screwed. Everyone knows the vita is kind of a flop right now in sales, and if they can't at least triple their sales soon then developers are probably going to stay the hell away from the device.

I own a vita, and I love it. It's a shame Sony don't bundle a memory stick with the console, as that could sell a few systems.

LittleBigPlanet is awesome, and it feels as though it was made for Vita.
