That's okay, I yell too.

You'll probably be hear me ask you to turn your volume down at least once, then.

On a similar note: I'll speak loudly to make sure I'm heard, or sometimes swear in surprise or amused frustration, but I don't shout cheap verbal abuse at people, like I know a lot of the CoD and LoL community does.

Sounds fun. I was just playing Torchlight2 awhile ago with someone from here, was a good time. I would not mind more people joining, up to 6 people can play at once.

I saw that you listed Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, OP. It's free on Steam for the weekend and on sale for 50% off! I'm downloading the free version right now to try it out. Would anyone like to join me in some this medieval destruction this weekend?

I'd love to, but this crappy old Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop I'm stuck with right now chokes to death on modern games within seconds, if it can even run them at all...

I mean, for example, it practically seized up when I tried to run a bot match of TF2 the other night as a test. It took multiple minutes to start the game, and then took even more time loading the match, and then ran at about 5 FPS, max, before I put it out of its misery by force-quitting out of the game. And that was with the graphics quality and resolution set as low as they would go.

This PoS's specs:

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium, with SP 1
CPU: Intel Core Duo T2080 @ 1.73 GHz
GPU: Intel integrated G945 Express family chipset
RAM: 1 GB DDR2 laptop memory

I can play Ureal Tournament (UT99) very well on this thing, though... :D

However, I'm planning on building this rig when I finally have an income again.

That sounds really fun, but I haven't played any of these games, sadly. :o

I've been thinking about getting it myself XD. Probably not until the first though.

Wasn't aware your computer was able to run TF2 though - did your desktop get fixed? Or is it the slow laptop?

ArcheAge (in US development)

One-Time Purchase I'm considering buying:

Far Cry 3
Borderlands
Borderlands 2
SWAT 4
Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield
Natural Selection 2

Man, I forgot about Tribes, that game is really unique, compared to most FPS games.

Yeah. I played Tribes: Ascend a lot before my desktop died. The game is ridiculously fast-paced and brutal when you get into a match with experienced players. A lot of fun though. Same goes for UT. I got pretty good as an engineer in Tribes: Ascend, before my rig freaked out and committed suicide (that's what you get for buying an off-brand PSU and having the circuit breaker to the room the computer's in turned off while the computer's still running).

I like to play support roles and objective defense in a lot of games; you don't need quite the paranoia and reflexes of a full-on assault role (although I have them, when needed) but you're not hanging out in the back waiting for something to happen, either.

I was going to do it on the office PC. My laptop won't update my flash player for some reason. :?

Except you're greatly restricted in what you have access to as a free player, so that takes a lot of the fun out of it. I really hate games that do that, almost as much as I hate pay-to-win games.
