How could i forget this game? It's Hoi(1992) for the Amiga, the first 4 levels are pretty weird on it's own but when you reach the 5th(last) level.. oh boy. The very first video game that had an "epileptic warning" in history as far as i know.

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus. But those are supposed to be weird, obviously.
And don't forget LSD: Dream Emulator, that game where you walk around in a bunch of crazy dreams looking at all sorts of strange things like ninjas kicking a ball, lava flowing inside houses, and giant minotaurs.

Dirt Jockey for Play Station 1. I bought it at a discount clothing store. Because it came with a controller. A cheap controller that broke after 3 days.

Oh, and the game sucked so hard that I'm pretty sure it's responsible for the vacuum of space.

Glover (terrible), Blinx the Timesweeper (crap), Whacked (meh), Earth Defense Force 2017 (ridiculous but great at the same time), The Legend of Starfy (honorable mention because of, erm, "interesting character design")

The other day I watched some videos on YT about a game called Hatoful Boyfriend, a visual novel/dating sim where you play a human girl in a school full of... pigeons. Yes, all the other students and teachers are real pigeons!

I read on Wiki that "Hatoful" is kind of a pun, that "hato" means dove or pigeon in Japanese and it's a play on the words "heart" and "hurtful". But that doesn't make the game any less strange. Actually I'd like to play it! :D

My friends thought I was nuts when I bought Steel Battalion, which is pretty niche really, but it was amazing. It would certainly have been more accessible if it wasn't so expensive, but there was really no way to avoid that and have it be as good as it was.

I used to have Sheep In Space, a particularly bizarre Defender-style Jeff Minter game for the C64, featuring space sheep sidescrolling between planets above and below, landing to feed while dodging camels, electric fences, etc. If overfed they blew up. Great fun.

I saw this one game where a little girl is in nursery school and she has to get to the top of the building where a blimp carries her off to safety because the place is on fire and the flames are slowly reaching up to her. Oh, and there are aliens and things that get in her way and she has to shoot them, I guess they're the ones who set the place on fire (presumably the building is evacuated because there are no people around) After completing the level she ages up a few years and is in school and the building gets torched and she has to escape all over again, then again when she becomes a teenager in high school, and even when she grows up and gets a job! This is not a lucky girl, to say the least. Finally she has to escape one last burning alien-infested building before getting married (how the heck did she manage to get a boyfriend and become engaged when her whole life has been narrowly escaping from burning buildings and shooting aliens?!) They very quickly have a baby girl and the game repeats itself all over again with the new little girl who looks just like her mother did and with the same name...

Monty Python and the Holy Grail PC game. :D I'm still very sad it won't play on newer computers, but I can't throw it out.

Sure it will, thanks to the DOSBOX emulator! I bought that game back when it was new... the manual is hilarious!

They made a Monty Python and the Holy Grail game? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......

I want to look this up (look at my damn username!), but I don't want to be INCREDIBLY disappointed. That tends happen with things of this nature for me. Such a conundrum.

It's old, random, and has no objective that I can remember. I loved it, and do admire your user name. :)
