I've always had a fascination for Albert Wesker from the Resident Evil series.

My only regret is that it doesn't have footage of RE5, but it's still cool.

Heh, has anyone else seemed to notice that the more evil he becomes, in the subsequent games, the more British he sounds?

Makarov is my favorite character in Call of Duty. Even though he is kind of a terrorist, I always thought he was a really epic guy. Just not a person to hang out with, because he doesnt seem like someone who would do anything "normal" for fun :p

My favorite villians are the Wario Bros. (Wario and Waluigi) from the Maio series and Ganondorf from the Zelda series because in The Wind Waker, before the boss fight with him, he explains his motives for trying to conquer Hyrule.

I honestly think that they played him badly, through I guess talking to Spencer and getting thrown out a window did'nt help things.

Chris needs to back off the roids.

From games of recent memory, I have to say Handsome Jack (Borderlands 2) and Wheatley (Portal 2). They're actually some of the most entertaining villains in any game I've ever played, with Handsome Jack being entertainingly carefree and ruthless and Wheatly just being silly.

My answer for "favorite of all time", though, has to go to 343 Guilty Spark, as my Halo fanaticism demands it.

I like videogames in which you can be the villain, like Infamous. Being evil is so much more fun

Joker, because his new homicidal run in videogames is awesome.

I gotta throw in a vote for Handsome Jack; it wasn't just that he was evil, he was just such a hilariously flaming douche-bag about it that I was really looking forward to killing him by the end of the game. His temper tantrum at the end was pretty fun too. I definitely found the expansion to be a bit lacking without his presence, he really did make the main game more enjoyable.

Before Jack, I probably had more fun with the myriad ways I could come up with to whack Caesar in Fallout: New Vegas than I've had with a video game villain in a while, the fact that he was voiced by Rawls from The Wire, who I always loathed, just made it sweeter. I particularly enjoyed smuggling bricks of C4 into his tent, packing them under his throne, and then literally blasting him clean out of the game.

Koopa, Bowser and Boo in the Mario games.
The rival in Pokemon Black and white 2 (okay, not exactly a villain, but the rival character is usually sort of portrayed as one).
Mars (Team Galactic, Pokemon)

The Dragon from Dragon's Dogma. It was much more profound than such a character usually is.

Pyramid Head (Silent Hill 2). Not only is his appearance and behavior (and his Great Knife) awesome, but his symbolism is really interesting.

Serial Killer X (Condemned: Criminal Origins). Serial killer who kills other serial killers using their M.O. Need I say more?

Lord Harkon (The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard). I've still yet to play the Dawnguard expansion, but from what I've read and heard, Harkon sounds awesome.

Terror Mask (Splatterhouse remake). Trollish remarks throughout make him one of my favorites.

Zed (Lollipop Chainsaw). Play the game or watch the boss fight with him. You'll see why.

Ephemera (Bloodrayne 2). She's hot and badass (neither as much as Rayne, though). Need I say more?
