I can't wait to play Saints Row IV and GTA 5 on my PlayStation 3. I might purchase one on Black Friday and the other when the price drops. I think both games are unique in their own ways and it's pointless to argue which one is superior because you can't scientifically prove it. Though, my preference is the Saints Row games and GTA has great memorable games I have played.

Next Thursday, July 18th!! \m/

And the StreetPass Plaza just got updated...I'm tempted to spend too much $ on eShop cards =| Not to mention, I'm already spending on the Steam Summer Sale.

This, and Saints Row 4. I enjoyed Saints Row 3 a little too much.

@OP: A gaming PC costs about $1,000 - $2,000. The PS4 costs $399, and the Xbox One costs $499.

Yeah, gaming PCs are expensive, no matter how you look at it.

I view it as a matter of value though; if you know where to look, when it comes to PC games, the selection of those is larger than all 3 of the major consoles put together (because you dont need to be a big publisher to put a game out for the PC), and as a rule, all of those games cost way less than their console counterparts (or are just outright free). And that's not counting things like emulators.

So my gaming PC was expensive as all hell... about $1700.... but I've gotten way more value out of it than any of the consoles (which to me were all very disappointing). Wont buy the PS4 or Xbox One at all.

As for the topic here, hm.... games I'm waiting for.... er.... uh.....

.....I cant think of any. Dont care about the consoles aside from fighting games and shmups, and alot of PC stuff I'd been waiting for came out within the last couple of months.... hmm. Well, there is the second Rome game in the Total War series, if that hasnt come out yet. A proper expansion for X-Com, now that's one that I'm waiting for, though that's an expansion, not a full game, but still. I know there's one in the works, but.... that's all I know about it.

EDIT: Ahaaa, I know of one release I'll be waiting for on PC: Infinite Crisis. Moba based on the DC license. I'm not particularly into DC or comic books in general, but the characters are still good, and definitely like the moba genre alot. Technically, I'm already playing this game (beta), but I still eagerly await the full release, whenever that happens.

i built my gaming PC for like 600, however PlayStation has come a long way in the last few years. Xbox really just seems like a media server if anything, really nothing having to do with video games. There are things that consoles cannot do that a PC can like key binds and etc. I suppose it depends upon what you are used to. I'm a huge fan of saints row though.

My gaming PC was $1100 but I can max out everything so far. I wouldn't spend more than $1200 on one but as mentioned before you get more value out of a PC. I've really enjoyed my gaming PC probably more than I would a console. I looking forward to Dragon Age 3 and I hope Grand Theft Auto V eventually comes to the PC.

After informing about this years E3, this year will be a hard year, because of being forced to choose for games I really absolutly cant wait for, and the games I also cant wait for, but being forced to do so, because I simply need to wait for some of them until they get lots cheaper.

My absolute favorites were:

As already mentioned: Star Wars Battlefront, because its Star Wars and its a tactic shooter, and that increases the amount I want it, with a mathemical potency ^3. ^^

AGE OF WONDERS 3!! ! Wuhuuuuu! :cyclopsani: :clown: :bounce: :sunny:  :hail: :hail: :hail: (Roundbased tactical strategy came, the inherit of the legendary "Masters of Magic", "Masters of Orion" series)

Divinity Dragon Commander: Tactical strategy game again, this time in real time. Additional, according to the description, you will be able to turn into a giant Dragon to influence the Battles yourself as well directly. Sounds a bit like a Warcraft 3 with more troops, with the possibility to influence battles yourself with a mighty creatures as the "Heroes" of Warcraft 3. :bounce:

A bit too early for jumping around, but the last games they released were great, so I am already venting for more informations on "Black Guard", an typical roundbased RPG that is focusing on realistic story, comparable to Witcher 1, that did wonderful to focus you on the story and the characters. :)

There are some great adventures released as well again, the one I think will be the best one is "Goodbye Deponia" from the publisher Daedalic, that also released "The whispered World" and "Edna - the breakout". :) The other ones will have to wait.

Dragon Age 3, Witcher 3 and Divinity Original Sin, will be great games as usual I suggest, but I think that will be the ones, that I need to wait for until getting cheaper. So there are simply lots of good RPG games out there, but I had to wait too long now for good strategy games. :) If I can afford at least one, then Witcher 3 will be it, because of me being fan of the fantasy-novels as well, that were ended some years ago, and the games are now telling parts of the story to come. :)

Battlefield 4: If its a real Battlefield again with lots of huge maps, built for machineries and helicopters and tanks, I will love it. If they are only cheating on their customers again, as with Battlefield 3, that was simply a CoD clone, beside the few bigger machinery maps, that was released with the start, they can keep it. They crapped the last Battlefield, because they wanted to release it as well for console and PC, and then needed to focus on smaller maps, because of the lousy console technique. So there were some bigger maps with the release, but the maps afterwards were mostly typical CoD maps, because of the consoles. So if they will release it as well for consoles again, I wont buy it, if the consoles forces them again to focus on smaller player-maps, and I dont want to play 3 maps 2 years long. -.- However, I hope the new consoles will be able to support a normal player quantity, with their technique and then there will be a real, great Battlefield again to play for hours and months with friends. :)

And there were also some rumors for a new "Thief" game, that should be more like the classic "Thief" again, so a hardcore sneaking-tactical game. If it will be really like that, it will be like the old times, when my partner watched me from now and then, then questioning me, if I am still in the same spot since 10 minutes before and getting the answer: "I am watching and memorizing the patrolling-routines of the guards..."

In summary, I could run around and scream like a little girl. ^^

I'll believe it when I see it.

Until then, I'm totally prepared for it to be another Thief 3.

I'm not being snarky, but that is a short life for a gaming PC. My gaming PC is going on 8 years, and it it still can run the latest games. Are you sure you didn't get short-changed on the quality of your computer parts when you bought them? If they wore out that quick... 8O
