No! It is not worth playing! I remember getting the game of the year edition for the computer on Christmas of 2010. It stopped working after a while, the graphics are horrible despite the year it was released, the gameplay is also horrible. People say it's the best Elder Scrolls game. The only thing I like about the game is its music. The music is very good. But regardless of the music, it is a very overrated game.

I'm divided about Morrowind. The combat is bad, the character models are bad, but the exploration is very good, it's possible to move through and around an area, collecting information without glowing arrows directing you to it.
But those character models always drive me away sooner or later; to say that they lack charm is an understatement.

The phrase "ugly stick" comes to mind...

I tried to play it but what killed it for me is the fact that there is no full text voice acting.

I guess I am spoiled a bit but still I play a game to relax not read a book, I don't mind some reading but I don't want to read all the dialogue in a game that is predominantly dialogue. I would rather read a book at that point, I give the game a 6/10, playable but annoying.

This pretty much sums up my opinion. There's a lot to like in it. The magic system is fantastic, the story is more interesting than Skyrim or Oblivion and it offers a lot more freedom in the way you can approach quests. However the graphics and UI are just too difficult to ignore.
