I once played the Doom 3 demo several years ago, mainly to test out my "shiny new gaming PC" (well, it was new at the time 
), and it ran well, but I didn't get too far. I found it boring compared to the original. Although to be honest, I've played the original and its mods so much that I've become sick of it. It's a good game, but I just have virtually no interest in it anymore.

yup. also, the soundtracks from back then.. to this day, I can still recall parts of the soundtrack from doom 2. awesome.
