I have a Wii U and I've been playing it more than the Xbox One since the games on the Wii U are more enjoyable.

That just blows my mind. I could not name you one single person who owns, or wants to own, an Xbone (even people I have never met). I hardly ever even hear the thing mentioned.

Yeah, same here.

I hear about the Wii U alot lately, particularly since Smash came out, and the PS4 as well, even friends of mine are starting to buy the thing.

But the XBone? Nnnnnnope. It's not just that I dont hear people bashing it, as that would be at least something... I just dont hear about it whatsoever. It's like there's a bizarre void where a console should be. I dont understand.

It's true, I hear absolutely nothing. If I didn't see advertisements about it in the 360 dashboard, I would probably forget it even exists. Most of my co-workers who game either have 360 or PS4.

I think MS have to be fabricating their sales numbers, or just exaggerating them in some way. Like, "we've sold this many to retailers", but maybe most of them are still sitting on shelves, something like that.

They formally give numbers shipped for Xbox Family (Xbox One + 360) not individual numbers).
Microsoft has shipped almost 12M worldwide.

Though according to NPD (the main sales tracking company for North America) they are nearing 9M sold in the U.S. alone.
NPD claims Microsoft sold ~2M Xbox Ones in the North America over December period, which another ~1M in the UK.

According to GAME (UK retailer) and Neogaf, Xbox One currently is 1.2M+ and PS4 is 1.8M+ in the UK, leaving a ~600k gap between the two in the UK.

I Like i've said, NPD claims Xbox One has sold ~276k for February in the U.S., while Wii U ~94k (keeps going up every month).

UK and U.S. retailers keep ordering them...
In a few weeks we will find out how many Microsoft has shipped since January...

Currently Xbox One is outpacing what 360 did in it's first two years on the market.

So someone is buying them... lots of them...
