Getting Old...

It could be a phase you're going through or it could be a phase that the gaming industry is going through where they're not putting out games that interest you. My interest in games was very low for the past 5 years. I'd only pick up 0-1 games per year. I've recently searched through some upcoming releases and there are several that I'm really looking forward to. I don't know what to say except to "go with the flow."

I've played too many games and become very cynical of gaming. This came to a head when I played Dishonoured. A game everyone but me seemed to like.

Arkane went on and on about it being inspired by Thief but the game was derivative of many games but Thief. Not a single original idea was in Dishonoured. The writing was boring, the world building laughable and the gameplay was very uneven.

Then again, I'm looking forward to Star Citizen. A game everyone seemingly wants to fail so they can be snarky at it.

It's not that everyone wants Star Citizen to fail. But the game has had a TON of development problems and the devs are more than a little shady. And that pricing scheme.... holy greed, Batman! Even EA doesnt try to pull the crap that one does.

I'll be honest, I dont think that game will ever make it to release. Though, this is also why I tend not to care about a game till it comes out.

aspie/NT people like experimenting with different rocks and mineral and RHNB (red hot nickel ball) or at least watch them on youtube....

also every asipes dream is to hack into russian and chinese interenet networks with their super amazing cyber brains made of lines of numbers, scripts and super long words, kindsa like the oxford dictionary bit bigger!! !
