There's definitely strategy in these games. I personally don't like them in multiplayer, and I'm not any good at them, but people have build orders down, all kinds of strategies and counter strategies, etc.

Starcraft is fantastic, and that's just talking about the single player game. I've probably played multiplayer two or three times at most.

I like both FPS and RTS, though I'm bored of the RTS games I have at the moment. I want some newer ones.

I want CNC3 and The battle for middle earth II if I get an X360.

I've played almost every Command & Conquer game so far released, and spent a minimum of 30 hours on each of them, save for Renegade, which sucked (I think I've clocked about 70 hours so far on C&C 3).

So, I'm guessing the answer would be yes.

I never really got into starcraft, though.

If i get a Dell E521 and 7600GT/8600GT/whatever i'll begin playing Rome Total War again (It lags like hell on this PC) and also try out Medieval 2,Supreme Commander and Age of Empires 3.

Btw what do you not like about it?

EEII is fun up for a while, but I got bored of it after 2 weeks. Still played it now and then though. It's not realistic enough for me, and for its scope, I find it pretty basic despite the variety of units. Most units speak in a certain accent, mostly American or British. It has loads of faults in that sense. Plus the pathing sucks, and the music gets repetitive. I credit the large amount of units you can build in it though.

Yeah even though tactical bombers are pretty useless IMO.

They should have fixed the problem with resources appearing for a few epochs then being replaced by another and so on,and whenever the computer sends a few units into my territory he declares war on me for NO reason,so i have to build up some fortifications or else i'm dead meat.

Either of you play online? i don't but i'm willing to.
