There was definately one in FF9, though it was a while ago and I can't remember what or who it/they was/were. I usually sail through bosses though. Video game completion is my talent.

Sephiroph from KH:II is easy once you figure him out.

Haven't played in ages, but I'll try.

If you can't glide, you're screwed. If you can't jump insanely high, I'd guess the same. Ultima Weapon would be excellent here as well, although it's far from mandatory. When Sephiroph is going, you get away. He will occasionally jump up into the air for an attack which will damage you badly(this is the first part of the fight). He will also go for a slash across the area that will result in further death. After the latter, he will pause. If you have a lot of Combo Plus' on, attack him. Continue this, and when he tries Flash, press [](I think it's [], like I said, I haven't played in a while), to get free, and attack him during his off second there too. When he starts bringing up the pillars of flame, he will start drawing you close. This is the most crucial part of the fight. Draw very close to him, but do not lose health. When he stops, you might be able to get two combos in. Factor in maximum strength, and you very well may cut his health down two bars. There is another attack here, but if I remember correctly, it isn't a huge concern. When he's doing normal attacks, follow the same strategy as before. Glide, heal, glide back near the end(this will take practice), and attack. When he jumps into the air to attack you, if he does so, when he is done, get him with a counterattack. This will be very useful. Now he will be pissed. He will rise up into the air for an attack that rains meteors down on you. Get close to him(I don't think you can hit him here), and jump, and glide into the little invisible barrier. You will not get seriously hurt now. He is insanely fast now, so don't get tricky. Hit him after the Meteor attack. Hit him after the pillars of flame. Don't screw with his regular attacks; he is too dangerous. His teleport slash is hardly important, but try to avoid it by jumping and then reacting to him with a combo. Now, there is one attack you have to avoid. Heartless Angel is damaging as hell. When he starts to rise, jump very high and then hit him. Be sure to do this before he goes. Now, get down on the ground quickly. He is going to attempt a Flash. Block it, as you cannot block it in the air to my knowledge. If you use an item well, you can beat him with a Heartless Angel, but don't risk it. He will then be dead. Not simple, but easy if you get the hang of it.

biolizard for me too, it took 15 days to finally beat him.

the boss from shion's flashback in xenosaga. god what was it's name, oh well. he sucked i couldn't figure out what the hell it was tell me to do to kill him.

andross starfox adventures too, i sold the game because i can't do the fear test.

proto omega Z in xenosaga 3, i beat him in one go but i started losing mechs halfway through and you can only shoot him with certain things at certain times. once i was done i hyperventilated for 10 minutes because i couldn't believe i beat him.

risem riku\ansem crossover thing in kingdom hearts at the top of hollow bastion's castle.

sonic 3 and knuckles final boss, i cheated to get there but anyway it literally took me and my brother controlling sonic and tails to beat him, i was sonic and my job was just dodging my bro was the invincible tails and his was to attack when there was a chance.

drakengard's final boss me and my bro both tried but still haven't beat that thing. and god's toy from the second game.

crunch with wind mask in wrath of cortex, i never beat him my bro did.

any boss in legend of dragoon well on the 1st and 2nd disks.

last boss of decent 2 i cheated and was still getting whacked.

Hardest bosses? I have to think on that one.

Most intense boss fight I ever completed was taking on Ruby Weapon in FFVII with one character without KOTR or Master Materias. Took me several tries but I won eventually with with strategy and sheer dumb luck.
Couldn't do the same with Emerald since it offered no real chance for strategy.

Yeah I recall Riku at Hollow Bastion was a pain the ass to deal with.

I don't think I ever beat Omega or Shinryu in FF V. But then again I never put a lot of effort into it at that point in the game.

Siegfried and Ultros in FFVI, at the battle arena. I did manage to kill these guys a couple times. I was probably just extremely lucky. Though they're not really bosses per se.

Right now I find Murata in SRW: OG to be pissing me off. He's just too damn powerful a boss to deal with so early on in OG2. Yet I'm sure I'll have a chance to own him later on with supers.

I've beaten all the bosses in games I've come across so far, even the Chimera Goliath, but then I don't have enough vehicle health left to beat another stalker without great difficulty. In fact, the Goliath is easy so long as you keep firing missiles and machine gun rounds at it.

Sin's head was still bloody hard to beat without Yojimbo.

In my opinion, Ultros counts as a boss. A boss that you battle several times during the game. He's tough the first time (he kept picking on Terra when I played it) but the second time onwards I equipped Locke with Ramuh and used Thundara on him, that does the trick. I was stuck on the airship battle with him (the one where he fights with Typhon) until I realised you had to attack Typhon until he uses Snort on all your characters (my party in that battle was Locke, Cyan and Celes, Cyan was equipped with Shiva, which is Typhon's weakness).

Even normal enemies can be tough. I'm stuck on the floating continent with no idea where to go and the enemies cream me.

When fighting fairly with no invincibility or weapon cheats, the hardest boss I've ever faced would have to be the 'Mantis Queen' in Turok 2... I lost all my ammunition and couldn't kill the bugger... *scratches head*

Ultros isn't a hard boss in the game proper. I was referring to his battle arena fight where he is incredibly cheap by sneezing your character out of the battle before they can do anything and auto-wins. He's not a boss at that point anymore, just a frustrating oddity. Siegfried is the same way in the battle arena except he just hyperdrives your character to death. It really all comes to blind luck in beating either of them since you can't directly control your character.(I still wonder why they made it that way in FFVI)
You're still in the floating continent so you haven't gotten there yet.

usually i go into the riku hollow bastion fight with metal chocobo and just beat him still he dies or well fades away but this time around i was doing a challenge no armor and original weapon, i had to level till 60s to even have a chance i normally am level 45 or 48.

on this same challenge even xehanort was difficult, without armor he could chop my health down something feirce i for once had to use strategy on him, the attack that was the most annoying is the one where he says "witness real power" he sucked me right out from inside of his ship then it would drain my health to almost nothing.

that was on expert mode.

i did the same in kh2 and had to beat demyx twice i died when the final fantasy characters help out, i probably got the fastest time i beat him in less then a minute the second time.

xemnas in proud was a bit harder his sabers hurt in proud mode, i need to beat him in my challenge now but the first fight was at level 99 and it still was difficult so i'm hopping that in this challenge that it won't be to much harder.

but not even god could make the first xemnas battle tough.
