Simcity 2000 SE for the Windows 95. So many memories of building up my city and tearing it down by triggering disasters. The sirens in the game used to drive my parents crazy.

The first one I can remember playing was probably either Super Mario Bros for the NES or a very basic PC game where you did makeup on a face.

My first pc game was on a floppy disc. It involved solving math problems while climbing up a snowy mountain. My first console game was final fantasy viii and Spyro the dragon

It would have been either an LCD 'handheld' (it was bigger than a brick!) of Frogger or a pirate game called Booty on the Sinclair Spectrum. Both would have belonged to my cousin who was older than me.

It doesn't say VIDEO game, just game.

I'd imagine peek-a-boo.

For me, the first video game I ever played was Spyro the Dragon for PSX. Given that I was four or five at the time, I never cared much for reading which meant that I never fully understood that I had to collect/free a certain number of Gems or Dragons to unlock a new world.

I'm not sure. Probably "this little piggy went to the market, this little piggy stayed home, ..." with me being unable to understand a single word of it.

My first video game was the original Pong that was in a local arcade. I have a home version of it in my collection. That was from around 1975 if I remember right.

I have played a version of the shark killing game that was in the original Jaws movie before. It is not a traditional video game, as it uses light beams to trigger films of the shark either attacking you or being hit with a shot. I have also played Space Wars in an arcade.

Yes, I feel really old now.

Honestly, I couldn't even tell. Was on SNES or NES.

Super Mario World I believe.
A few games like Punch-Out, Pac-Man, Mario 2, Megaman V on NES too.
My brother is older, so he played NES, but I think I played SNES before NES actually. lol

Chess.

My father gave me my first lesson when I was 3.

I could play him to a stalemate by the time I was 5.

By the time I was 8, I could beat him.

I'm going to go by Wario Land II but it could also be Super Mario Bros. 3 on the Nintendo Entertainment System

If this thread is about video games, the first thing I played was probably Digger or Tower Toppler/Nebulus on MS-DOS, both on the same day, just don't remember what order. It was at my dad's office at work, the year was 1991.
