Video games as an investment?

That's not true. I want their stuff if their stuff includes a 240/260/280Z or Chevy Vega that's not too rotten.

Off topic but..
Someone has never heard a Datsun 1200 with a rotary engine sucking methanol.
The local Nissan car club use our forest for their rally track and we are sealed into our farm for the night.
In an emergency we are required to ring the race Marshall for an ambulance.
The highlight of the night is the rotaries spitting machine gun noises and you can hear exactly where they are for the length of the track, and they start in town 5 km away.

So a old Ms Pac man game doesn't count in this thread .
Nah, they said "modern" video games.
So it's -possible- that a modern release of Ms. Pac-Man could be worth money some day, but not very likely. Usually those arcade collections go straight to the bargain bin.
But I suppose with consoles like the X Xbox X Series X double X XboxXXX, any physical games could potentially be worth money, since Microsoft is trying to phase out physical releases.
I get the feeling physical copies of games will turn out to be a worthwhile investment.

Awesome. I'd go the resto-mod route if I owned one, so it wouldn't have carbs when I'm done. Maybe a nice Vortec 4200 because they're relatively cheap here. I guess that would make it a 420Z.

No, I don't think Rally Canada allows methanol, only pump gas.

well I guess a old Pac man game could be a collectible that could be worth something but really its bad financial practice to have your retirement in collectibles.I guess the OP could maybe buy stock in Microsoft or Nintendo.I say Microsoft because you would be investing in XBOX and Call of Duty.I know Microsoft shares and maybe Nintendo would give you passive income just for owning the stock through dividends. You could also buy a Sin Stock ETF which would have shares of videogame companies
Thank you ..your insight on this stuff is appreciated .
