I have GH3 for 360. Man it's great, I just beat it on medium! If anyone wants to jam with me on co-op on XBL just add me! MeatSim23.

I'm not that good on hard yet but I'm planning on 5-staring every song on medium before I go on to hard.

Hey, cool! I didn't even know that you could do co-op on XBL. I don't own the game, I only play it at my brother's house. I'm right at your level though.

I want to try this game, especially after seeing the episode of South Park where Stan was hooked on it.

I would love to play with someone that is my level. All my friends on XBL just love to play the Hard difficulty. It sucks. :?

I am always inspired by South Park. It's almost like a religion to me.

Yeah, your supposed to, while your holding longer notes in pretty much any mode, push it in and out with the palm of your hand - much like you would with a real electric guitar. It has a bonus-creating effect, not a huge amount but if you've got x4 or x8 it can definitely have a noticeable effect on your score.

Sorry, but no. Close though. I used to think that's exactly what it did, weirdly enough. Then I looked it up and found out that all the whammy bar does is increase your star power meter when you're holding in a long star shaped note. Hope this helps :]

Nice, so you just get the double faster - that still works.

I have guitar hero 2. It's so much fun. I've made it through medium, but have yet to beat it on hard. Psychobilly Freakout always gets me.

I played GH for Xbox 360 in a store the day before yesterday. I couldn't pass the easiest song

This videogame is great, I would like to have the PS2 version, but now I can't buy it, because I spent my money on a Wii.

GAH! I'm still stuck on that Raining Blood song, or whatever it's called, by Slayer on the 7th tier of GH3 on hard...

It's so dang hard... I always fail a little over 35% through the song on that insane part with the boat load of hammer-ons and pull-offs and the scattered 2 note chords every once in a while.

I try to get the star-power at the beginning, so I can use it to help me get past that one part, but I hate having to start the song over when I just miss one note on the star power.
I've done the rest of the song after that in practice so I know I can finish it fine, I just need to get past that one part... Grrr.
But I LOVE playing Reptilia, paint it black, and Knights Of Cydonia on Expert. At least that's fun.

My neighbor just got me to try Rock Band last night. The drums are kinda fun, a lot different than the guitar and trying to coordinate your foot in can be a little weird. I can't stand the vocal part though, its like you can do a great job of singing the song but you get a crap grade - and if you sing it according to the way the game wants you to it sounds like crap.

O_o Does it really grade your singing? That's rediculous!
How?

That's the problem, it doesn't really grade your singing. It grades the loudness of your voice, specifically when, and the gradient of loudness. You could sing it as well or better than the original singer and still get a crap score. F'it. That's why I'll be more than happy to let my neigbor sing - even if we're playing nothing but Garbage, Pixies, and other chick bands - I'll just stay on drums or guitar.
