Super Smash Bros Characters you'd like to see...
ORIGIN: Final Fantasy/8-Bit Theater
BACKGROUND: Black Mage is an ornery, selfish, and evil sod. He is continually frustrated in his evil plans, mostly by the actions of his comrades. He seems to have (well hidden) a good side, which he tries to demonstrate to White Mage, but his lust and lack of manners or empathy disgust her.
His signature attack is the powerful spell 'Hadoken'.
MOVESET:
B: Knife throw. Hey, he likes stabbing.
Side-B: Bolt-2. Like what he does to the old folks home early on in 8-Bit Theater.
Up-B: Thief Toss. Thief, as a Ninja, comes out of nowhere and throws Black Mage high into the air. Great recovery move.
Down-B: Fire-3. Flames surround Black Mage temporarily. A bit like the Ice Climber's Blizzard move, but firey.
Final Smash: Hadoken. Think Samus' Zero Laser, but more devastating.
STYLE: Light, but slow. He also cops more damage than usual, and can be sent flying easily. However, his recovery move often can help. It is his special attacks that are powerful. His physical attacks, even with his knife, don't do much damage.
TAUNTS: "Just...stop...TALKING!"
"I've got Black Magic, a hair trigger, and a short fuse, bring it!"
"So much suffering will be visited upon you..."
VICTORY: "Are you saying that Black Magic and it's practitioners are inherently evil?"
"That was the most pathetic battle ever."
Awesome!
NAME: Nemesis
ORIGIN: Resident Evil 3
BACKGROUND: A tough humanoid bioweapon, it is programmed normally for search and destroy tasks. Umbrella call it the ultimate weapon. That remains to be seen.
MOVESET:
B: Rocket Launcher. Basically fires a Rocket.
Side-B: Tentacle whip. Like it says. Can also be used like the Hookshot, Plasma whip, etc.
Up-B: Quake Blast. A small jump, crappy recovery move, but if he grabs a character in mid-air, can slam them to the ground. Can also be used as a suicide move. (ie, grab an enemy while off the stage, then slam them off the stage)
Down-B: Stomp. Anyone near the area of effect will get buried in the ground.
Final Smash: Final Nemesis. Transforms into the final form and, while slow, causes major damage by touch and spraying acid.
STYLE: Nothing subtle. Just pounds away at adversaries. Heavy. Can be fast when actually running, but takes a lot to stop. Has a crappy recovery move, but he's all about power.
TAUNTS (and VICTORY): *Roars.*
"STARS...."

Name: Harry Potter
Origin: Harry Potter
Background: Harry Potter is an orphan wizard who not only survived an attack from Lord Voldemort but actually destroyed his powers in the process. Harry comes armed with his wand and his broomstick.
Moveset:
A moves: Various sparks and Broomstick whacks
B: Incendio. Sets opponents on fire. Can be charged.
>B: Wingardium Leviosa. Lifts opponents up, like Mewtwo's confusion
^B: Firebolt. Harry gets on his Broom and flies back up. It works like Pit's Wings of Icarus.
VB: Pertrificus Totallus. Turns opponents in frount into stone
Final Smash: Expecto Patronum. Harry calls on a Patronus to attack everyone in the arena sending them flying.
Harry has all round speed. His attacks get more powerful the more damage he takes but his defense drops each time he is hit. Can be sent flying with 95% damage at the least.
Taunts:
Hogwarts is my home.
I hate Dursleys
I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself.

Okay, this one is for Paladin_Cecil...
NAME: Cecil
ORIGIN: Final Fantasy IV
BACKGROUND: An orphan raised by the king of the militaristic Baron state, Cecil was trained in the ways of the Dark Knight. However, after his king sends him on missions that require him to slaughter innocent civilians, Cecil rebels. After a long and arduous quest, he finds the means to become a paladin, or warrior of light. However, he also soons finds out more about his origins, realising that his father came from the moon.
Cecil, along with his White Mage lover Rosa, the dragoon Kain, summoner Rydia and ninja Edge, travel to the moon to help his uncle FuSoYa and former adversary (and brother) Golbez defeat the one behind the events of Final Fantasy IV, Zemus. Cecil, after an arduous battle, finishes Zemus' embodiment of evil, Zeromus, and is later crowned king of Baron
MOVESET: (Note, his moveset is much like Roy/Marth)
B: Holy Slash. Cecil charges up the holy power of his sword and swings it down.
Side-B: Excalibur Slash. A combo that can go on for up to 5 hits.
Up-B: Lunar Jump. A jumping slash.
Down-B: Reflect. Cecil casts Reflect in front of himself, temporarily reflecting all projectiles that hit him from the front. (This is the only main B move that is different from Roy or Marth)
Final Smash: Holy. Cecil summons a cloud of Holy energy that strikes enemies repeatedly, like a mix between PK Starstorm and Palutena's Army.
STYLE: Perhaps a smidgen lighter than the two Fire Emblem characters, Cecil is a margin more agile.
TAUNTS: "I cannot lose." (Not said confidently or cockily, but as if in desperation)
"I will fight to the end."
"The power of Light conquers all."
VICTORY: "The power of the Light conquers all."
"I will finish all those in my way."

Other than not having Krystal from Star Fox Adventures/Assault, I'm happy about the Smash Bros. lineup. My favorite character has ALWAYS been Mario. I didn't care what others thought. I always kick butt with Mario. Other than him, it was Falco/Ganondorf from Melee and Captain Falcon/Ness from the first game.

I sometimes play DK as well. He's a better heavyweight than Bowser, that's for sure. I just wonder how good of a heavyweight King Dedede is.

I think he can float-jump like Kirby and Jigglypuff. I think his Final Smash is highly entertaining.

And now, for the biggest revelation in Smash Bros. fighters...
Name: Tetris Block
Origin: Tetris
Background: Tetris Blocks move block by block and so does this one in Smash. Complete with all the different moves from the game too.
B: Rotate Away. Used to lift opponents over your head (if you can call it a head.
>B: Slam. Tetris Block uses it's dash ability to slam into other players. If the opponent makes contact with a wall, they are defeated, but use this move wisely as you could kill yourself. When you slam an opponent into a wall you lose a block
^B: Speed Recover. An upwards Slam. Recovers any blocks lost.
VB: Rotate Towards. Used to bash opponents to the ground.
All A attacks are bashes of different directions.
Final Smash: Tetris. Plays the Tetris music annoying the other characters and Tetris Blocks rain down on everyone. Eventually the words Tetris appear and everyone goes flying off the screen. However, you can be defeated if another Tetris Block collides with you.
Style: This character is strictly for advanced players. It moves like Mr. Game and Watch and you actually have to take care with your attacks and use the right move at the right time. It's tough to master but once you do, you will be a right force.
All taunts are victories are various beeps.
On a side note, Bowser has a new Special move.

Yeah, that body slam thingy.
Okay, another two from FFIV:
NAME: Rydia
ORIGIN: Final Fantasy IV
BACKGROUND: A young girl when we first meet her, Rydia was the last survivor of the Summoner's Village, Mist, after it was razed to the ground by the Bomb Ring Cecil and Kain were ordered to bring to the town. Though reluctant to forgive Cecil (after all, he and Kain killed her mother when they slew the Mist Dragon), she befriended him once he showed his willingness to save her life from Baron soldiers bent on killing her.
After falling into the ocean during an attack by Leviathan, Rydia rejoined the party, having aged several years in the Land of the Summons (due to different time flow there), becoming a young woman proficient in black magic and summons. A powerful mage, she was still a little naive, and wont to rebuff Edge's flirting. She played a role in defeating Zeromus at the end of Final Fantasy IV.
Note: The Rydia I am using for SSB is the adult Rydia.
MOVESET:
B: Blizzara. Simple fire-forward energy attack. Has a small chance of freezing an enemy.
Side-B: Whip. Like Sheikh's Side-B move, but more damaging.
Up-B: The Wings of the Sylph. Borrowing the powers of her Sylph summon, she flies through the air briefly. Excellent recovery move.
Down-B: Flare. A bit like PK Flash, but stays around Rydia. Can misfire. Cannot be directed. Powerful when charged up.
Final Smash: SUMMON. This has a random effect each time it's used (I ain't using Mage, Imp, or Cockatrice):
CHOCOBO: (Chocokick) Medium damage to one enemy.
SYLPH: (Whisper-wind) All other enemies get damaged, and Rydia gets the combined percentage negated off her own.
SHIVA: (Diamond-Dust) Around a small area, all enemies are frozen and hurled up into the air, like a ground-level Articuno.
IFRIT: (Hellfire) An area surrounding Ifrit is engulfed in flames, hurling enemies into the sky.
TITAN: (Rage of the Earth) An earthquake either 'grounds' or buries enemies, or hurls them into the sky.
ASURA: Rydia is cured of all her percentage damage, and all enemies recieve damage.
LEVIATHAN: (Tidal Wave) All enemies are swept off the side of the screen, except those at a high enough height.
ODIN: (Zantetsuken) Hurls any enemies within a straight line off the screen.
BAHAMUT: (Mega Flare) Causes tremendous damage to all enemies, and probably will hurl them off.
STYLE: Rydia, like Zero-Suit Samus, uses a whip in battle. She is weak physically and light. However, her special attacks and Final Smash are extremely powerful, and her recovery move is decent enough.
TAUNTS: "You lot are weird."
"Gimme a break."
"Crybaby!" (These are all modified FFIV quotes)
VICTORY:
"Thank you, my friends."
"I will fight to the end!"
The next one is coming soon...

NAME: Zemus.
ORIGIN: Final Fantasy IV.
BACKGROUND: Zemus was a Lunarian who wished to conquer the Earth. Whether it was for the Lunarian's benefit or his own thirst for conquest isn't quite clear. But he was in the minority, and was sealed away deep beneath the Moon's surface.
However, although his body slept, his mind reached out and found being willing to help him, like Dr Lugae, the Four Elemental Fiends, and Ceodore, the brother of Cecil. Zemus renamed Ceodore 'Golbez', and set him to the task of resurrecting Zemus' great weapon, the Bab-Il Giant. Golbez eventually failed, and broke free from Zemus' control. Golbez and FuSoYa attacked and killed Zemus in mortal combat, only for Zemus' evil spirit, now pure hatred and rage, Zeromus, emerge and floor them. However, with the help of the prayers from the Earth and a special crystal, Cecil and his comrades beat Zeromus, who had an ominous warning: that he would always exist as long as there was evil in the hearts of men.
MOVESET:
B: Blizzaga. A stronger version of Rydia's attack.
Side-B: Hold. Like Mewtwo's Paralyse move.
Up-B: Warp. Zemus warps through the air. Not an offensive move.
Down-B: Comet. Calls a small shower of comets upon those surrounding Zemus, a bit like a wider-spread version of Pikachu/Pichu's Thunder.
Final Smash: Big Bang. Zemus transforms into Zeromus, then performs an extremely powerful attack that covers the whole arena.
STYLE: Like Rydia, only more heavier and slower. However, he is more powerful.
TAUNTS: "I cannot die."
*Evil laughter.*
"I hate ALL!! !"
VICTORY:
"I am...absolute darkness!"
"I am the ultimate power!"
"All those who oppose me, fall."

King K. Rool
Origin: Donkey Kong Country (SNES, 1994)
Background: King K. Rool is a villanous master of disguise who despises the apes on Donkey Kong Island. K. Rool attempts to lure Donkey Kong and his pals into traps by stealing their banana hoard. In the end, K. Rool always finds his convoluted plots unsuccessful, although he tries again and again.
Banjo carries Kazooie around in his backpack. When Banjo needs help to progress, Kazooie pops out with some moves of her own.
B: Crown Catapult
-K.Rool removes his crown and tosses it like a boomerang.
B-Side: Blunderbuss Blast
-K. Rool draws a very large gun and fires a canonball.
B-Up: Jetpac
-K. Rool hovers with the aid of a jatpack.
B-Down: Body Slam Shock
-K. Rool slams the ground, sending out shockwaves that stun nearby opponents
Final Smash: Blast-O-Matic
-K. Rool's giant gun takes aim at the stage and fires. Similar to Snake's final Smash, but slower with a wider blast radius (and only one shot).
NAME: Liquid Snake
ORIGIN: Metal Gear Solid
BACKGROUND: The embittered twin brother of Solid Snake, Liquid had been manipulated into believing that he had been given inferior phenotypes, while Snake got the superior phenotypes (ironic given what later transpired: Solid Snake was actually the supposedly inferior one). Liquid later joined FoxHOUND as its commander after Colonel Roy Campbell left.
He held the US government to ransom (and blackmail) by capturing Metal Gear REX as it was being tested on Shadow Moses Island. Because of the illegal nature of Metal Gear's nuclear weapon launching ability (doing so as a stealth weapon), Liquid was certain that he could get his ransom: One billion dollars and the remains of Big Boss, the latter required to cure possible genetic disease in Liquid and the Genome Soldiers (who have been enhanced with Big Boss' DNA). Liquid intends to recreate Outer Heaven on Shadow Moses.
Solid Snake fights his twin to the death, with Liquid first piloting a Hind D helicopter, Metal Gear REX itself, then a hand-to-hand fight on top of REX. Snake then escapes, only to have Liquid die of a viral weapon, FoxDIE. However, Liquid is not completely dead. In the sequels, Revolver Ocelot has had Liquid's arm grafted into his own (after it was cut off), but Liquid (presumably from a possible medium ability of Ocelot's) is able to possess Ocelot.
The SSB version is Liquid as he is in MGS.
MOVESET:
B: Right Hook. Takes some charging up, like the Falcon Punch or the Wizard Punch (Capt. Falcon and Ganondorf respectively).
Side-B: Shoulder Charge. Remember Liquid doing this to you in the original MGS? Liquid charges a short distance. This move can be charged. Those hit are hurled into the air.
Up-B: Gun Cypher. Like Snake's, but this one is a gun Cypher (remember these from MGS2?) which shoots the nearest enemy in range with a machine gun.
Down-B: Counter. Like Marth/Roy's move.
Final Smash: Metal Gear REX. Think Fox, Falco's and Wolf's Landmaster FS, but ramped up to the max. You can stomp enemies, fire the electron laser, or missiles. Slow, but powerful and invincible. Only lasts a short while, though.
STYLE: Liquid Snake's fighting style and stats are similar to Solid Snake's. However, his moveset is very different. He is perhaps a smidgen lighter and faster.
TAUNTS: "You're going down!"
"I'm going to swat some bothersome flies."
"You're finished!"
VICTORY: "There can only be one Big Boss!"
"You can't protect anyone, not even yourself!"
"Not yet, Snake! It's not over yet! " (If Snake is in the battle)
