Remakes of Pokémon Gold and Silver on DS please. The DS needs some decent games right now.

Actually, one thing that ticked me off abut Leaf Green and Fire Red is there was no Yellow equivalent.

I wanted to start with Pikachu!! !! !! !! !! And hopefully, a more interactive Pikachu.

I'm sorry, but I think this brand of mostly shallow tripe has polluted our writing and film industries, and we don't need to encourage game developers to do any more of it either. I know most of you don't agree, but that's how I see it.

I agree that most of it is shallow tripe. This would actually be a realistic depiction of a romantic relationship. That's why I'm saying it wouldn't be like those crappy hentai dating simulators that give interactive romance a bad name.

Veresae that game actually sounds pretty cool, romantic storyline and all. I can actually see that selling really well to both males and females. Problem is I bet most people would forget their real life.

Thanks. I wish it was possible to make though. Well, it's possible. But it won't happen!

I've always disliked how the Sims doesnt really let you follow the teens to school, or the parents punish the kids, or how the relationships are so robotic. I'd like to see an expansion pack that lets you have a real preschool and highschool and not one that you need mods for or where you have to pretend too much. It'd be really fun to watch the relationships grow in a realistic way.

Heheh, yeah. Sims 3 will have more of that, I hope, because you'll be able to switch to different parts of the neighborhood on the fly.

Me, I'd like to see:

A sequel to Shadow of the Colossus and Ico
Another Kid Icarus game
A Pokemon game with a story plot much more deep than just collecting badges (and the main character to talk)
An Okami II
A Zelda game with actual voice acting (not just grunts, gasps etc.)
A Folklore II
A video game where the main character is an aspie ^^
Most of Veresae's opinion on the 'Ultimate Game"
A game where you can change the rating
A game that brings up a totally new theory on how the world was made

That's about all I can think of right now.

-A real TES4 game (Oblivion counts as half of a TES game in terms of gameplay and plot material, especially when sized up against Morrowind and Daggerfall)
-KOTOR 3
-While we're at it, I want Team Gizka to finish the restoration mod for KOTOR2 (they're still working on it, but are close to release)
-An RTS that allows you to take control of individual units and fight as if it were a Star Wars Battlefront type of shooter (there was one called Rise and Fall but it only allowed you to take control of the hero)
-Star Trek Armada 3 (the Armada series was not only some of the best Trek games ever made, it also had some good RTS features I haven't seen elsewhere)
-A remastering of the original Empire Earth with new graphics but the same gameplay
-STARCRAFT II (dear lord, don't let Blizzard give this the starcraft ghost treatment)

A Non-Sucky Doctor Who game....

Maybe, since the Doctor is non-violent, maybe you could play levels as a baddie; ie: Doom style where you are;

a. Dalek - with increasing firepower etc as you go up the ranks.
b. Cyberman
c. Sontaran etc...

Or perhaps a game in the style of KOTOR where you play various companions with some firepower (Ace, Captain Jack, Leela etc) and travel from place to place on a quest?

Does that mean we could hang around the Tardis as the "mobile base" a la the Ebon Hawk?

Apparently EIDOS is creating a video game that will be on the PC, PS2, and DS....

I reckon either a role-playing or adventure game in the Whoniverse would do well....

A game where you can make choices in actions and dialouge, and it really affects the game so there are several possibilities in the storyline and such, does sound really neat, but I think a game would need to be really big for that (I don't know that much about video game-making, but I would think so). Still, it's nice to daydream about. : D Like the character you played as would get several answers to choose from in conversations, and all the choices would fit the character somehow (right now I'm thinking of a game where you can't customize the characters you played as ala the sims, even if I like that too, I think that's the reason I like the games even if they get boring after a while... but I digress), so someone polite would say yes to something or turn it down politely (only example I can think of right now), but you would still get choices, and some would have rather subtle effects on the game while some could have bigger effect, and... Oh boy, I think I better go to bed soon and do some real dreaming.

(I wouldn't mind Gold/Silver-remakes for the DS, either! And and, a new Pokemon Snap game for the Wii.)

Fallout.

I think Planescape is supposed to be like that too, but I never got to play it.

No doubt I'll pick up the EIDOS game but it's apparently based on card games.

I'd love to see a RPG maybe similar in quest to the other (crappy) dr who game - ie: where you have to find and liberate the Doctor's other selves.

but...

You're not playing the Doctor,
The graphics are good.

You can have multiple types of characters;

eg:
Timelord (Romana) - Abilities: Longer Lifeline, Some Temporal Abilities and High Intelligence - but low attack.

K9 - Abilities: Unlock, Small spaces, stealth?, High Offensive and Defensive capabilities but low movement

Ace - Like a bounty hunter... ie: guns, bombs, traps etc,

Leela - High offensive/defensive plus stealth but with an intelligence hit.

and yes, the Tardis would be like the Ebon Hawke.

Well, the Doctor, or at least a few of his incarnations, did employ violence when necessary (which was surprisingly often in some episodes), but you're right... I don't think you could do a Doctor Who shooter, unless you play as a Dalek in which your mission is to "EX-TER-MIN-ATE, EX-TER-MIN-ATE." It'll most likely have to be some kind of adventure game or RPG. Still, it's fun to speculate what the arsenal in a "Doctor Who shooter" would be like: Sonic Screwdriver, Sonic Lance, Cybergun, Glittergun, Sontaran laser wand, Sontaran heavy rifle, Gallifrey impulse laser, the Master's shrink ray, Nitro-9, Coronic acid grenade, jelly babies (lol), a bazillion other weapons and gadgets the Doctor has devised, and maybe a K-9 that you can control a la the drones in Frontlines: Fuel of War. And if you got hit by a Dalek ray, your screen would flash in that "negative" effect instead of the usual blood red.

Planescape, Arcanum, and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines all do that, and IMO they do it way better than Fallout or Fallout 2. I bought Fallout 2 last Christmas expecting it to be on the same level, and was kinda disappointed, since I'd expected the level of dialogue choice to be on the same level as those games.

A more complex, longer, more difficult pokemon game with a customizable protagonist. I would like it to depart from the lame "stop evil organization, catch this legendary pokemon, etc." formula. Badges and the Pokemon league are fine, however. They just need to be more difficult.

More games in the Mother/Earthbound series need to be made (and released in the USA).

Let's see................................

1. Pokemon Platinum realeases
2. Pokemon Ranch North American version
3. Pokemon Gold & Silver remakes
4. A game in which the whole game is a function that FINALLY allows you to trade Pokemon from Generation 1 & 2 games to Generation 3 & 4 games of Pokemon. (Hey-My level 100 Zapdos, level 100 Typhlosion & its clones, from the glitch, could use some room in Diamond version!) Also, transferring Pokemon from a bootleg game to an official one could be nice.
5. Super Smash Bros. Pokemon vs. Yu-Gi-Oh.
6. Pokemon Channel Wii with Pokemon RPG Pokemon copier that keeps old GCN save file w/ new features.
7. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Explorers of Time & Darkness-Bring your Pokemon from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red & Blue rescue Team into the explorers world edition (as copies) that keep your old save file!
8. Make your own Pokemong game!

i'd like to play an RPG that has a linear story but you can imprint your own personality onto the character(s) and have more say in where the story goes. maybe a story that has multiple endings and you can engage in varying degrees of morality. most games where you get to play as the hero or the villain you either have the ending where you're the greatest person who ever lived or you're worse than Hitler. i'd like a game that had something more complex, a "grey area" game as it were.

i'd also like an RPG that wasn't so grindtastic and make you either sit through a boring story it doesn't let you control, make you pointlessly level up, or play a bunch of tedious side quests. there's a lot of potential for RPG's but a lot of them feel like work instead of play. either you're running around tediously fighting enemies to level up or get more money, or you're clicking your way through an unskippable story that doesn't involve you at all.

...basically an RPG that's the opposite of everything Final Fantasy is.
