I play Half Life 2 Deathmatch and i just type my chats, voice chat on games is annoying I think.

I've tried it once or twice, it was just as awkward as leaving a message on an answering machine...I feel like I'm just talking to the computer, alone in my bedroom.

What Star Wars Galaxies server do you play on? And I don't use the in-game voice chat, I still type. On my server (Tarquinas) not that many people use voice-chat, but I haven't done any heroic encounters in a while, so I'm not sure how often they are used there.

I play on Sunrunner, Twink Lee is my character. The heroic encounters are pretty darn fun! Hard to find a group sometimes, though.
