I have made a town full of aliens (using the cheat box) and they all hate 'normies' by which I mean people with white, brown or black skin! I thought it was quite funny without being truly racist! I have also made a white Sim have an affair with a Black sim when her husband was white. It is so funny because the husband seems to think it is their kid even though it is so obviously not!
The kid thing is hilarious! How did you get two unmarried sims to have baby? I'm pretty certain on my game they have to be married.
Quite often my sims have kids when their not married. All you gotta do is get their relationship high enough
back to the original question. no, it does not matter what order you install the expansions . i installed both. uni then nightlife. i think i might of had another but iv forgotten. not played in a long time. got too hard for me ^^
There are loads of cheat codes on the sims and this means that you can get your Sim's relationships really high so it is only a matter of a little flirt. Get your 'husband' or 'wife' out of the house and 'try for a baby!' (just type Sims 2 cheats into a search engine)

I don't play Sims as much as I used to. Every few months they've cranked out another expansion pack or "stuff" pack, and I can't be bothered keeping up and to support a company (EA Games) who seems to value making money over making quality.

I have the sims 2 but since I only have the minimum system requirements I get more loading screens than actually playtime. I'll get the the Sims 3 when I get a new computer.
Has anyone had a werewolf or a zombie in their game? I have never seen one. Tried often to get someone to friendly with the wolves (or are they dogs?) with yellow bright eyes, but it never works out.
Does anyone have "Apartment Life"?
Honestly one reason I play this game is that I have trouble with hand to eye coordination for any game that requires a movement like jumping. Yesterday I played Legos Indiana Jones on WII for about 1 1/2 hours. After all the running, and jumping around I got REALLY dizzy, and a little nauseus. This morning I woke up still feeling dizzy. It finally dissapated after 4 hours.
I love having werewolves. For some reason I always get werewolves on my lots, even when I'm not cheating. After that it doesn't take long to befriend them. I've got Apartment life too. My favourite part is the witches and familiars
I know what you mean about hand eye co-ordination. I am really bad at anything where I need to have quick reflexes or movement.

Sims 2 can be a lot of fun though again there is the micromanagement of your sims which they are trying to reduce. As for cranking out expansions & stuff packs if everything that an expansion provided was already included in the game they'd never make their deadline. But from what I understand Sims 3 will incorporate a lot of the expansions ideas from Sims 2

I love Sims2! It is my favorite game of all time so far. I can't wait until Sims3 comes out in Feb. 2009! I love building houses and sims and see how they live. I could play Sims2 non stop if I wanted to. Timpanogos

I have all of the Sims 2 expansion packs, but I don't have most of the Stuff Packs. That game is great, but it runs so slow that I have to wait for hours upon hours before the game loads, but overall, it's a great game. Can't wait till February 2009 for The Sims 3. (Wow, my post is so cliched. XD)

The Sims 2 is hilarious Last time I played it my married male sim got abducted by the aliens and was returned pregnant. The green alien daughter now lives perfectly normal life, married a "normal" sim and is the Chief of Staff at the hospital I hope to get to try Sims 3 at some point as well.
I play Sims 3/Late Night, went on a bit of a bender around Xmas last year. Now I spend more time remaking towns and building new places than I do actually playing the game. Last night I started a steampunk mansion near the bridge in Bridgetown. I can get lost doing that for hours and oftentimes don't realise it's way past my bedtime and will be compelled to stay up late and finish. I'm getting better about that, though, because as a single parent with a kid at home 24/7 a few nights of crummy sleep makes me a very, very grumpy mother. Nobody likes a grumpy mother. Plus now I'm meant to be studying at night and I'm not studying Sims Architecture.
