I hope they do a remake... I can't play my G/S/C games anymore because I think the battery died on them D8

Well I think it was the legendaries that are hardest to get without some realy round about method are the legendaries from G/S/C, leaving some holes in the pokedex for version exclusive also like Quilava which is also a favirout. Though to realy complain about if a G/S/C remake with not being over different areas, when G/S/C was actualy over Johto and kanto you even got to fight Red and blue who were the characters from Red and Blue.

I dont think they should use the wii if they do make a super pokemon game with all the regions. mostly cause i just dont have the 60 - ? bucks it would cost as opposed to the 35 - 45 it would cost for the DS. (im so poor *tear* *goes and fills out applications*)

Any Pokémon beyond the first 151 are illegitimate. The 250 are semi-legitimate, but the original 150+Mew will always be the true classics.

Red, Blue, and Yellow FTW!

Gold and Silver were pretty decent as well, but pushing the upper limits in some ways. After that, they just kept adding more and more and putting in stupid stuff like multi-Pokémon battles. Two on a field at once, no more. And when you're up at almost 500 Pokémon you've really cheapened the whole thing, especially when some are either really stupid or just redundant. The new types they keep adding are also kind of lame.

Maybe it's just my Aspie rigidity and opposition to change? Hm. I'm a fan of the classics, and have no need for all these new-fangled additions.

Although i respect your opinion and completely understand where your coming from (i totally agree some of the later ones are like inbreed abomonations) but there are still some really awesome new ones also (e.g. Chimecho, or Pachirishu (although that one is just from my love of squirrels))

I've always been a dog lover, so most of my favorites are dog-type pokemon. Growlithe, Arcanine, Poochyena, Mightyena, Houndour, Houndoom, etc.

Well some of the new ones might seem a bit unnecesary or strange, but I kind of feel that some of them are a breath of fresh air, also a bit of a chalenge where I try to learn about all of them, it used to seem a bit strange to me that they would have so much trouble with knowledge on only 151. I too kind of like Pachirishu, I stumbled upon it in the game and caught it, called it Hammy, and it was quite good even though it kind of looks like a weak thing that you shouldnt keep beyond fullfiling pokedex in terms of bateling, but actualy had fairly high defence, is good for parelising, fang move that halves enemy HP and its run away technique.

Because Zapdos is the only real one on that list.

Anyways, among my favorites was Hitmonchan. With his Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, and then some fighting-type attack (I forget which now, it's been years) I was able to use Hitmonchan to effectively counter most types. I would beat the Elite Four with just Hitmonchan and some help from a really beastly Scyther I had. Then there was my Gengar, always good. I had a nice Starmie, and for a long time (until I got close to the end of Blue) I relied very heavily on Raticate.

Mewtwo was overpowered and cheap. Every kid had a level 100 Mewtwo, along with an over-HP'ed Snorlax. Gyrados was classy, but the effort of leveling him up from Magicarp was brutal. Reminded me of the time I worked so hard to level up my Abra until I would finally get a useful Kadabra.

What's wrong with mewto? Ok, mewto is ridiculously overpowered, but that's what makes it cool.
