Well mine now has a new 3 year warrenty and if got it runnng with a dual fan fan stand and a Intercooler TS it's way cooler then running with only 1 fan now.

Be careful, some intercoolers have the potential to do more harm then good. If it pulls its power from an external source, it should be fine, but if its powered from the xbox, you run the risk of ruining your 360.
Also, your 3 year warranty is now void because of the intercooler. Just thought you might want to know that. Just make sure that m$ never finds out you're using it.
No the TS is the newest Model with an Independent Power Source drags out cooler air with the TS fans and internals working together and the fan stand forcing air up for the bottom.

I agree. The Red Ring of Death should be the name of a bloody fatality move found in some video game, not the infamous last gasp of a big expensive console.

I had my 360 for 3 1/2 years before it finally burned out. then I bought an Elite...can't say how long that will last because 2 months after I bought it someone broke into my house and stole not only my Elite but my 32" LCD :(

No worries though. I went to Rent-A-Center and picked up another 360 and a 42" Toshiba LCD :D Yes, I'll pay more but considering my current situation Rent-A-Center is my only option.

I didn't know a person could rent a console, I thought that was primarily a thing that had to be bought. 8O

you get an extended warranty for that problem i had it and it only took 2 weeks for them to take it and send it back again

the problem is caused by something melting onto the motherboard and can actually be fixed by opening it up and re soldering
