I actualy came across the bulbapedia article the other day, I thought that others may want to look at it here. It looks like it will be released in Japan on the 12th of Sepetember and there are some interesting new features like having any pokémon follow you and menus will incorporate the touch pad more making it easier to navigate. I am realy looking forward to this.

I'm going to end up with whatever version has the Legendary my girlfriend doesn't have.

But that depends on whether or not she lets me give her my Lugia from Pokemon XD. She wants to earn it herself, so I'm pretty sure I'll be getting Heart Gold for the Ho-Oh.
