Same here, but I was really young back then. When I got a little older, I got a PS1 with Crash Bandicoot 2. That is what really got me into gaming.

I am not sure the former was probably first.
1998 The Lion King on the Sega Pico I remember jumping over rocks.
1998 101 Dalmations: Escape from DeVil Manor PC I remember taking a while to get through the last parts of the game.
As for games with a wider target audience it was one of these but I think they are in the correct order.
1999 Super Mario Land for the Game Boy I remember getting to one of the later areas, a temple I think when the batteries stopped me from progressing any further.
1999 Spyro the Dragon PS1 I remember laughing every time I barbecued or headbutted an enemy.
1999 Super Mario 64 That piano scared me.

N64:
Wave Race 64
Mario Kart 64
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Sega Pico:
Crayola: Create a World
Richard Scarry's Huckle and Lowly's Busiest Day Ever
The Great Counting Caper With the 3 Blind Mice

Don't know which order exactly, I believe my parents got the N64 before the Pico.

My first console was the NES and my first game was the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt cart for the NES. My first hand-held game was Tetris for the Game Boy, but I remember playing SMB/Duck Hunt on the NES first.

Pretty much the same as me. That Nintendo experience carried on to the SNES and N64, but I owned tons of other consoles, but as a young kid I preferred Nintendo stuff.

Once I got my first PC though, that became my go-to thing. Even though it seems to be getting more obsolete every day, the desktop gaming PC is something I am pretty much in love with. Sadly, advanced cloud and game streaming might cause a future in which consumer-end hardware is entirely pointless.

That was probably my first as well, although I'd played a few others on my cousin's Atari 2600 beforehand.

First games I ever played were the Colecovision versions of Donkey Kong & DK JR but the first game I ever had was the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt cartridge that came with the NES. Ah, those were the days....2 buttons, no bullshtako gimmicks, no internet requirements and if the game wasn't working you just had to blow into it & you were good to go. I feel old...

My first gaming plattform was an computer, and it was around 1989 or 1990. The display only showed one colour (and if I remember truly it was a poisonous green? ) and the first games I played on it was a Formula 1 driving game, a typical snake game, and a kind of reaction game when you controlled a spot in the middle and needed to avoid obstacles that came from the lower side of the display and got faster and faster.

"Combat" on the 2600 back in 1981.

I also got breakout, asteroids & missile command together when I first got my 2600.
Combat was just the first one I put in the console.
Missile Command was actually my favorite of that list.

Centipede, Zaxxon and Galaga on the 2600. My mother bought me one of the later 2600 slims in 1989 or 1990 which was my first console.

Galaga was a space invaders clone.

Sorry i never kept them.

The first games I played required DOS commands to run them and were on 5 1⁄4-inch floppy disks.

I remember one being called Baggy the Dinosaur which was a game intended for children.

My first console was an Intellivision and the games included Astrosmash and Bomb Squad I believe

I'm not sure what game that I actually got to play first, because there was a long period when I would watch older people playing stuff that they would point-blank refuse to let me play; Atari and Commodore stuff. I think the first game I really played was probably some terrible arcade game that I don't want to remember

If you include computer games, the first "video" game I played was probably Dark Castle on my dad's old Macintosh when I was around 3-4. First console game was probably the NES version of Dr. Mario on a store display.
