Both.

It's coming out for WiiU, also.

I've been playing various games as of late but I'm planning on dumping most of my hours on the original Borderlands.

So far it's the only shooter/RPG where, despite walking around barren wastelands, it has a often coloful and unique art style that makes it feel alive yet gritty.

Also, am I the only one who finds the gameplay surprisingly simmilar to Fallout 4? Come to think of it, Fallout 4 may as well be Borderlands but with Fallout 3 skinjob. Am I right?

MGS V. Never been much of a Metal Gear guy, mostly because they were Playstation exclusive and I don't do Sony, but I'm really enjoying it.

Decided to give Dark Souls 3 a try.

An hour later, I'd refunded it.

Enough said.

Terraria! Recently I've been playing so much Terraria. I play it on PC and 3DS

terraria is on 3ds?? how would that work??

i also have been playing it, on pc. 8) approaching 400 hours.

It's set out a bit differently than the PC version but it's really good I find! The stylus makes it easy to lay bricks down and mine ores. You can also do local multiplayer on it :)

forgot about the stylus...that sounds MASSIVELY useful for taking out/placing blocks. its petty frustratingly slow on pc. :?

It's probably equally slow on the 3DS or any other device. I cant see that developer making a major gameplay change during the process of porting.

There's alot of reasons why I stopped playing Terraria (biggest being the complete lack of challenge) and that's a big one. It just takes too bloody long to dig even small areas up.

Starbound did it MUCH better, but... of course that game has other issues.

Totally obsessed with Ark: Survival Evolved. Wish I had a good computer, playing with my bro on his Xbox One it's extremely laggy, but it's still awesome. :D

Wait, so are you saying you have a slow computer and that Ark has cross-platform play, or that Ark is really laggy on the Xbox One?

Sorry, there's no cross-platform that I know of and probably won't be since a lot of people hate playing any type of multiplayer on the console. The graphics are lowered considerably for co-op, but it's worth it to me. No, I only have an old laptop that can't play any type of games besides browser maybe. When I first got it I kind of almost burnt it up playing non stop WOW for a while....heh...

It's definitely laggy on the Xbox One because of the level of graphics. If only they would give an Admin command to lower them a bit more it wouldn't be so bad. Playable for sure, as long as you have a little patience for lag, or a lot better internet connection. Even offline it's laggy, just a little less so. I just wish I DID have a good computer because it's optimized better than the console version.

I wouldnt be surprised if part of the issue is also just that it's a port.

That unfortunately happens with ports; they can end up badly optimized and thus sub-par, regardless of if it's a PC-to-console port, or if it's a console-to-PC port. It doesnt seem to matter, it happens either way fairly frequently.

Though splitscreen does also increase.

I still havent tried the game myself yet, one of these days I should do that.

that's why i appreciate rocket IV plus snowman cannon so much.

i find the "expert mode" to be a comfortable level of difficulty, personally.

one gripe i do have with the game is not being able to skip/repel most events. nothing more irritating than starting a building project and having to deal with a solar eclipse, followed by a blood moon and martian invasion. *groan*

I've been playing a lot of Dark Souls 3 since it was released. The second game was a disappointment (although still a good game) so I was iffy on this and avoided all pre-release guff, although the fact that Miyazaki was leading again gave me hope. Right now I'm a few areas in having spent close to six hours, and I'm enjoying it a lot. Those little hidden areas are handled really well and I've found myself peering into pits and such in the hope that there will be something there (sometimes there is!). Enemies are fun to fight after you get past the early, basic ones. Encounter design is good which is where the second game really fell flat. One niggling gripe is that it's much more linear so far, in that you travel from area A to B rather than having a choice of several areas at once, although the exploration inside of the areas is good. Talking of, the transitions between areas feel natural, and the areas themselves are more lengthy and have more character, it really feels like a journey through a plausible land rather than a series of levels with sudden impossible transitions as in Dark Souls 2. The port is solid and I get 60fps constant on my 780 Ti, although I'd kill for some better anti-aliasing.

Difficulty so far isn't too bad, the bosses have sort of been on the easy side whereas the standard gameplay is as you expect and with longer than usual distance between bonfires in general, so perhaps a little more difficult?

I struggle to concentrate on games so it's good to play something that commands full attention and there's not much better than having a whole new Souls world to explore, lacking the knowledge of what is coming next.
