More Overwatch today. Getting the hang of more characters. I'm really loving that there are quite a number of characters that let me do what I tend to want to do, which is get up close and do loopy stuff from right in front of someone.

And here I'd originally thought that this game wasnt going to be something I'd like at all. Sometimes, it's really nice to be totally wrong.

Holding your head in your hands, crying?

Just kidding, looks like they tried to avoid putting the worst Sonics in there ;)

I was tempted to get that, but I would honestly only be doing it for the shirt. It's not quite as cool as the Metal Slug shirt (which I have), but it's kind of cute.

i am playing "just cause 3" and i am getting tired of it. the scenery is pretty, but the game is sh***y.
i have to do motor coordination challenges (like skydiving through hoops) to upgrade my abilities, and i just can not control the dive well enough to win them.
if i use an xbox360 controller (on my pc), i can not carefully manipulate the controller sticks adequately to steer through them (too insensitive), and if i use the mouse, i veer off wildly in all directions and fail (too sensitive).
i do not want to have adrenaline pumping daredevil acrobatic obligations in the game in order to progress. i am a tactician and a strategist in these games, so physical coordination is not my primary focus.

I got "Creeper World 3: Arc Eternal" and "Cook, Serve, Delicious!" cheap on Steam.

Creeper World is basically Starcraft but instead of Zerg and Protos, you're fighting "The Blob". The game has some unique strategies, can highly recommend checking it out if you like RTS.

Cook, Serve, Delicious! is a casual click game that simulates running a restaurant. I like the tempo of it and that it requires you to trim your multitasking skill, ie. Season and cook a chicken while pouring a beer to another customer and then prepare some fish while the chicken gets done.

Sims 4. And hating it because it's not sims 3, but after a year of owning and not playing 4 I got sick of all the bugs in Sims 3 that caused it to keep crashing and I knew the developers were never going to fix as they had abandoned the game.
I hate Sims 4
Excuse me while I go back and play some more...

I'd say this is debatable, given that 2006 and Shadow the Hedgehog were never released on PC ;D not to mention Sonic Boom and Black Knight.

$10 for Sonic Generations and Lost World is defo a good deal though, Generations is easily the best 3D Sonic game and Lost World is... absolutely playable! It's entirely possible to convert playing time into some measure of joy! (or: it's a misstep but it's polished and visually interesting if nothing else)

I was replaying Witcher 3 yet again but my computer keeps powering off under load and I need to figure out if it's the power supply, the motherboard or a software problem. Hopefully the latter.

What I have been putting time into is Shin Megami Tensei 4. I'll be honest, the first five or so hours were okay but kind of weak? All the gameplay elements are there and solid but there was an uncertainty as to whether the whole game was going to be a Naraku dungeon crawl. Without spoilers, it gets a whole lot better after the Medusa fight.

And that Medusa fight, wow. Minotaur wasn't exactly easy but Medusa really requires you to exploit the game's systems -- and even then the random factor can wreck you. I also restarted the game at the Minotaur boss fight because I wasn't happy with my build; I pumped strength thinking that it might be as OP as SMT3, but in actual fact dexterity (or magic, if you choose) is the best attack stat to pump. Actually, I feel a little guilty for looking that up instead of just trucking on but eh.

One thing I love about this game is the ease of battling. Battles don't take any longer than required. Autobattle disables animations and you get an ability that allows your autobattle AI to exploit enemy weaknesses (if already known, I assume). Animations are short, too. I really appreciate RPGs that minimise wasted time like that.

It's one thing I really dislike about JRPGs in general. They can often have pretty decent gameplay systems but they take absolutely forever to start demanding anything of the player. SMT is one of the better franchises in this regard, though.
