Been playing both Deadly Premonition and Asura's Wrath.
I'd already been sold on DP even with what seemed to be obvious flaws in the gameplay department, particularly the controls, but I really feel that they have been exaggerated now that I've been playing it for a good while myself. There are only very few times I have much of a problem at all. The tank controls when the camera is in a fixed position make it awkward, but they seem to be so rare that it really is a non issue. The driving isn't bad at all, so I don't really understand this complaint. At the very least it's significantly better than GTAV - or, should I say, more realistic. It's not IV's level of sophisticated driving physics, but it doesn't feel like it's holding my hand like in V. Though I've only tried driving the two police vehicles so far, so who knows what some of the others are like.
Asura's Wrath, well...it's basically QTE the game.
Seems to have had one portion that was actual gameplay, but I haven't gotten very far yet so I'm not sure how much of that there is. I don't mind it, as I'm simply more interested in the experience as a whole. However, I feel I will probably return it and not bother getting any of the DLC once I'm finished and get something else that will be more interactive and last longer. Maybe an RPG of some kind. I've looked at both Agarest of War games but they don't seem tobe exactly what I'm looking for. I don't like either of the FF games that they've released on the 360. I feel like with Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey that I've pretty much got the only good old school style turn based openi worldish RPGs the 360 has to offer, unfortunately.
