Now only five more routes, and four out of the five are easy and short.

The Vita is underrated but, at the same time, still completely outclassed by the 3DS in terms of software. It's sort of a shame because the 3DS is painful to hold and has such an awful low-resolution display by comparison, I'd much rather play those games on the Vita.
I've been replaying Shadow Hearts and the sequel, Shadow Hearts: Covenant. I played both as a teen but only finished the former so I figured I'd revisit both. Pretty early on in Covenant and I laughed so hard at this scene that I had to take a recording and upload:
Perhaps not as funny if you aren't English though.
The games are kind of goofy. They take an historical setting (1913/14) but transplant in a combination of magic, demons and anime stereotypes that make absolutely no sense in the setting. Covenant manages to juxtapose the horrors of the first world war with JRPG tropes in a way that is reminiscent (retrospectively) of something like Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, except perhaps a little more sincere in intent. The battle system is pretty fun, the main gimmick is that you have to time button presses in order to pull off attacks, it's surprisingly addictive and adds an extra level of tension to the fights. Now, hopefully I can finish it for the first time! The first game takes about 20~25 hours whereas the second is apparently more in the region of 40 hours. Covenant is also a direct sequel and I can't really imagine playing it before the first game, since they have the same MC and plenty of returning characters and plot points.
I am still playing Clannad, but I am also wondering whether to go back to Tales of the Abyss eventually. As it is, I'm watching the anime first.

I just finished Dark Souls 3. Loved the game, wish there was more of it. Also has some of the most kickass bosses in videogame history. Not sure if I'll go and do new game plus or start a fresh game with a different build yet.
My favourite boss in the game, and probably in the series.

I am currently playing Shantae half genie hero on the Switch and have gone through Tassel Town which was difficult for me particularly area 3 with all the moving platforms managed to clear that area after a dozen attempts .The boss was also difficult for this level as I had no healing items and only half a heart left(two hits remaining) out of two hearts at the time. This took several attempts also , after a while hair whipping the rolling eye ball and using Fire magic for the last part of rolling eye ball I got the boss cleared.Afterwards I did a bit of backtracking and found some heart containers and dances. Finally I did the Magic carpet race which was a breeze.Finding the game fantastic so far it is fun.
Before that I was playing Skylanders Imaginators on the switch I have done the Main story(expert difficulty)but have not 100 cleared(Got everything) it as I need senseis of every element to unlock certain areas.Found the game enjoyable first Skylander game where I have done the main story.Though marketed at kids I found the game delightful and the characters hilarious.

Oh geez, I remember that game. I played through it myself years ago. I remember I did the extra dungeon, to get the Infinite Key (which was seriously annoying to get), and then had the old guy use it on the final boss. It was super difficult to get the bloody thing to work right (your timing has to be absolutely perfect), but when it did, it led to five straight minutes of the old guy and the marionette doing a little dance while the boss just took endless damage for no apparent reason. It was hilarious. I made a video of it, but I have no idea what happened to that.
My seven favourite games ever are likely Pokemon Explorers of Sky, Radiant Historia, Final Fantasy Curtain Call, Rune Factory 4, Dragon Quest IX, Final Fantasy VII, and Tales of the Abyss.

I still need to beat the second game, got a bit of catching up to do =|
I bought Terraria last night for the 3DS (it's on sale right now at the eShop), and played it for a while. It's not bad, but the controls are going to take some getting used to. It probably doesn't help that I haven't played the game in a while.

^^^I played a fair bit into the second Shantae game, but the time trial level made me frustrated, so I stopped.

I don't even think I got that far. I remember getting lost in the forest, and then I decided I should beat the first game first, and I just never got around to replaying it when I finished.

I just finished the Miitopia demo, so right now I'm dividing my playtime between Layton vs. Phoenix Wright (which I'm replaying) and Persona 4 Golden. I want to get back to Saints Row 2, but I haven't had the time or patience to get my laptop and controller into an ideal setup.
I'm also eagerly counting down until Danganronpa V3 gets released.
