Oblivion

Holy s**t, I avoided this game for all these years because it was expensive and I had no idea if I'd like it due to it being a "sandbox" game (like grand theft auto, a series I've never liked despite playing 4-5 different games from the series)

I'm addicted now though...I'm going to beat the entire game with all 3 of my characters!

Re-installed Star Trek Birth Of the Federation recently, still a very cool 4x game despite its age, even though the combat is a bit of a mass melee in the first turn with each opposing side firing a wall of torpedoes at each other in 100+ ship battles.

Blood Bowl Legendary Edition

You Trekkie nerd.

I'm currently playing Phantasy Star II, IV and a bit of Uncharted on the side.

I never really got the hang of that game. The way you build things on the planets confused the heck out of me, experience of Stars! notwithstanding. And there was a nasty tendency for a Cube to turn up and go all Wolf 359 on you before you'd any chance to build a fleet that'd counter them. And did the memory leak ever get fixed?
...it was kinda good, though, for all that. And I hate Trek. :)

Currently playing Vampire: The Colonising: Bloodlines for the umpteenth time. I was happily surprised to discover the existence of a real patch for the game - previously, thanks to a decidedly annoying but perhaps unsurprising internecine war among Vampire fans, I'd only known about a so-called "unofficial patch" that came with all sorts of unwanted junk, but there is actually a real unofficial patch that, y'know, just patches the bugs. Which is nice.

Also still dipping in to Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition, ArmA 2 and New Vegas.

Keeping it old-school with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Mostly just raising Chao though.

i love chao, my first was chacha, and i got so attached to her i freaked out when she suddenly vanished one day, then for the longest time there was an egg in that garden. after ignoring the egg for several days i finally hatched it and was surprised when chacha popped out. i think i wound up spoiling her after that cause i was so happy i didn't stop petting and cuddling her.

once i got internet access i read all about chao online, and found out they reincarnate, i was like ohh *smacks face* i'm an idiot. from there i also found out how to make eternal chao and made chacha one then because she now couldn't recarn like before i had to send her away for good.

then i got sonic advance 2 [just for raising chao mind you] and got a normal egg hatched it named the chao chacha so it was like she never left. now i got tons of chao and system for raising them.

but i'm not sure if i can even play this game anymore my disk is so badly scratched it's pathetic and hardly plays anymore.

hmm *goes off to play sa2 battle*

I hate when people do that. That's prettymuch the entire STALKER modding community...a couple neat features and a whole lot of stuff you don't need =/

Starwars Battle front 2 on the PC (playing with mods once in a while, but is still vary fun without it). love the game, always enjoyed when I was on the loseing side with only me and like a few guys left and I come out with the win.
Digimon world 1, vary complex game, monster raiseing is fun for me, yet vary hard at the same time. digiviolving is vary good in the game and I wish they made an MMO like that.
speaking of MMOs I'm on and off with the MMO Digimon Battle, vary fun if your a fan of the 3rd season, its fun to go on it and play a little for fun.
still just kicking back and waiting for Starwars The old republic and Guild wars 2 to come out.

It did confuse me at the time. However after playing more complex strategy games since then I've found the system isn't quite as bad. Basically you have a numerical number of resources on a planet food, industry, power, intelligence and research. You require a "unit" which is a building (what the building is will vary between races) and in order for you to get the points of resources out of that building you need 10 million population. Building up newly colonised worlds can be quite a pain in the arse.

You can edit the config file of the game and turn Borg Cubes off as they are quite a horrific menace that can kill a game off but it is the only random event turned off.

There is an unofficial 1.2 patch which improves compatability with more modern systems. I find if i do get a memory leak i just save, restart and exit on a modern system you can do that all in seconds.

I like how combat is resolved in this game. One thing it does very well is battles between multiple combatants (i.e. 1vs2 or 2vs2 or 1vs1vs1 etc) although if its just a big versus battle the initial fight is simply firing a wall of torpedoes each other the ships that survive the aftermath of this barrage then get into the tactical nitty kritty of manuevers and tactics.

I like how all five playable races have distinct styles of gameplay and also have unique music and the interface changes to reflect the theme and technology of the race. Each race has a differnt playing style though i like the game mod that replaces the Ferengi with the Dominion

Not really playing anything, but I'm making a hack called "Sonic 1: Retro Revolution". It's going to have a version for each of three difficulties: "easy" (speedier, practical difficulty), "normal" (balanced between speed and platforming), and "difficult" (a stickler's game that is sure to test your Sonic mettle).

Critical Mass - an old and primitive but strangely addictive game, try the linked demo. :)
Hinterland - another simple timewaster.
Just finished a playthrough of VTM:Bloodlines so done with that for the moment, will shortly try Alpha Protocol, which is supposed to be similar to Vampire.
