Completing Metal Gear Solid 2 on Easy mode :D
It is the very first game I have completed on anything harder than 'very easy'. I know how pathetic it is, but who cares? xD

CSS - Gungame, managed to get 6 knive kills, my nade level and the final knife level all in one round. I'm know there was more than likely a huge luck factor involved, didn't make it seem any less of an acomplishment.

Rome Totalwar, Battle difficulty: Hard, Campaine difficulty: Very Hard.
My army (2200) got caught between the SPQR-army (2800) and a Julii garrison (1200), I withdrew, but the Senate army caught me again and forced me to battle. Thankfully my army had taken refuge inside a forest so I had some places to but out some surprises.

The cavalry got devided into three parts, the two generals and the elefants was placed behind my battlelines to protect them from the SPQR-velites and heavy infantry, my Longshields was placed inside the forest, far infront of the battleline, consealed amongst the trees, three units on the left flank and two on the right, the Slingers was placed far out to act as skrimishers and hopefully draw the SPQR heavy cavalry (Generals, about 250 men) towards my spearmen and elefants in the center.

The plan was to rout enemy with a surprise cavalry chock starting at the flanks. This failed since the enemy battleline was longer than expected and the cavalry on the left was dicovered too early. After their charge failed to rout the enemy I pulled them closer to the center just in time to have them attack the main SPQR-general (100 heavy horsemen) in the rear when he persued the Slingers.
The general was killed and his bodyguards routed (about 60 left), the three Longshields joined my two generals and the elefants in an allout charge towards the enemys center (several units of heavy infantry and velities). This succsseded the same moment the SPQR-heavy infantry on the left flank engaged my light Iberian infantry. But, wise as I am, I had another unit of Iberians hiding in the woods not far from there as reserves, so they were rushed into battle and restored the situation untill my cavalry arrived from behinde and routed the enemy.
On the right side not much happened exept for the time when I was occupied on the left flank and one of the SPQR-generals and a unit of Triarii found the Longshields there. I tried to detach them, but one routed and I had to send my Libyan Spearmen keep the enemy in place whilst the situation on the left flank was getting under control, and I could send the elefants and another unit of Longshields to their aid.
After the death of their last general they desided to withdraw from the battle (they still hade a few unharmed cohorts), most of them where however cought up by the remaining cavalry before they could flee.

My battleline was never really engaged exept for the Iberians on the left, most of the fighting was done by my cavalry, as you might see on the picture. :)

Image

Since I really didn't want that battle and was utterly outnumbered in heavy infantry (450 vs 1500) and heavy cavalry (100 vs 250) and without any clear advantage exept for speed (and 23 elefants) I consider it a true achievement. :D

And as a note: That's my only army exept the garrisons, so loosing it would have been a very hard blow for my empire.

Now I won't make Hannibals mistake, I'll march towards Rome instead of the Julii cities. 8)

Completing Half Life 2 and Episode One consecutively for an entire weekend on easy. I had no sleep at all. Apart from when I HAD to stop for work. Once I finished, it was back to the game and when I finished, it was Monday morning... Now I can run it in better graphics and 64bit drivers, I can play it again and see in awe the Source engine working on all the textures. Although some are clever textures which are flat but look 3D when you move around it. I installed a mod and had a look around. The textures were all illusions.

I suppose the best I can hope for is a one shot kill when moving in any first person shooter.

I remember when Need For Speed Underground was out. I absolutely HATE the drag races as I have nothing other than a keyboard so I can't get a perfect launch everytime and my lane change speed is too slow, I can change lane quicker in real life (and have done) I've beat the game up to medium, some of the drag races on hard with a keyboard are practically impossible without tapping and playing with it.

I remember a review on the game that completing the game in easy was nigh-on impossible, and you'd have to be a race-god to beat it on medium. Needless-to-say, it changed my driving habits in the game. Always driving a manual.

My old best at a racing game was on an Amstrad CPC464+ It had the Demo/BASIC cartridge with Burnin' Rubber, no matter what I did, the best I could get was a 55.0 seconds, and no better than 5th position. I've tried again on the emulator I have, but no better with more skill.

In middle school, I had a pokemon battle with this one kid. We were only supposed to use 3 pokemon (all level 100), but he cheated and used 6. I still beat him anyway. :D

Once I played my cousin at Fighting Vipers for the Sega Saturn. I managed to knock off all his armor before the battle ended AND my finishing punch resulted in him hanging off of the top of the fence by his shirt. It was pretty awesome.

On Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 at the arcade, I managed to get over a 500 hit combo.

At the moment i can think of:
~On Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Wii) I beat the Kyriaki extreme challenge with an XS rating. .. For both characters.
Then one of the other extreme operations too... I forget which.

~Then it's always nice when I can shock presumptive, sexist and/or condescending gamers by destroying them on Super Smash Bros or showing off my Guitar Hero skills. (On Expert! Yeah!! !)
Specifically, I'm very proud of this one time in spanish class when someone brought in Guitar Hero for the class to play. The best part was that I played against this guy who has a history of being cruel to my friends. He's never been mean to me (to my face, at least, since I'm a pretty-ish girl and have a generally non-invasive, cheerful personality) but because of how he's repeatedly treated my friends, he is one of the very few people I actively dislike.
Before this class I had just talked to one of my close friends who was pretty upset over the something cruel he what he had said about her. So I was feeling particularly angry towards him at that moment - I'm not usually this passive aggressive.

When we were figuring out who should play, I decided to raise my hand and ask if I could have a turn next. The kids in class chuckled a little bit but agreed to let me play. Before we started, he (the mean guy) started giving me instructions on how to put on the guitar strap and how to use the controller. I told him I could handle myself fine and then he let me pick the song. I asked what level he would like to play on. He gave a nonchalant shrug and told me whatever I wanted - "he could handle it". Of course, nobody expects the mild-mannered girl sitting in the back of spanish class to play 'Psychobilly Freakout' on Expert.
Needless to say, he couldn't do it, and revenge was very sweet. My classmates faces were priceless too. XD

~Next up, Completely beating Pokemon Puzzle League Spa Service (including the Final Level) and beating 1p on Very Hard and (hopefully soon) Super hard.
I'm stuck on the Gary/Mewtwo double whammy. Grahh! It's maddeningly difficult. Don't laugh! Sure, it's Pokemon related and on N64... but it's frickin' hard. And crazy fun. xD
Though I feel a bit silly playing it what with the cut scenes and all, it is a fantastic vs puzzle game.

~Oh! Two months ago, I finally beat the last ChuChu Rocket puzzle! The game came out with the gameboy advance and I played it obsessively for a couple years until I finally got stuck on level... 23? ( the stage is called "Get together") on Mania mode.
So, I finished the stage I'd been stuck on for (judging from the copyright in the credits) almost 8-9 years!

~I won Resident Evil 4 (Wii) in two days. Then lightning struck my house and nearly killed the Wii. True story and very sad indeed - I wanted to play through again! And I was Wii-less for a couple weeks when we had to ship it off to get fixed. But it still lost all our data. ):
But, hey. I'm still pretty proud of that time frame. (:

~And I think I'd like to share a proud-sister-video-gaming moment. My youngest sister beat the Ocarina of Time on N64 before she had even turned 6 years old. I had to read the text to her when it was important. I'm so proud of her. (:

It's nice to recall these things... I need to find a new game to obsess over.

Beating Bioshock(360) in 2 days

Catching Giritina in Pokemon Platinum(DS) - Countless tries, and every time but the last it ran out of moves and killed itself with struggle. Even then it took almost 20 dusk balls

The other day in The Conduit(wii), I was playing a multiplayer match, and the game mode was ASE football... I managed to find it first, hold onto it, and win the game by reaching the point limit without anyone killing me or getting points!

Unlocking every single cheat in GoldenEye for the N64, anyone who remembers trying to do the facility level on 00 difficulty in under 2:05 knows why I'm proud of that one. I got all the cheats in Perfect Dark as well, but they didn't feel nearly as hard to me.

Totally breaking Morrowind to the extent that after stacking enough intelligence potions I could create any permanent enchants that I wanted, and later 1-shotting the boss of the game after doing the same with strength pots.

I can beat Super Mario Sunshine with 100% completion in under 3 hours. I was a debug tester on it playing it 12 hours a day 7 days a week for 6 weeks, I still can barely stand the site of it.

Breaking Team Japan's records on Wario Ware Inc while I was employed at NOA.

Beating the Xbox version of Ninja Gaiden on hard mode, there was a lot of cursing involved but I made it.

I recently completed Fallout 3 for the 3rd time, this time I did every single quest and side quest in the main game and all the expansions with good karma. though I wasn't above the occasional theft. I was playing on hard, and it took me about 3 solid days to do it.

A few moments in WoW regarding my epic tanking skills as a feral druid, where i miraculously managed to Battle rez the healer priest while i was tanking the last boss of Arcatraz.

In the same vein and pre BC, managing to tank Stratholme with 5 people and not wiping once (which at the time was good considering my non epic gear)

More WoW moments....

When BC came out my druid was the 4th druid out of all the alliance ones on my server to reach 70. <.< Took a few no life days to get that ^^;

When WotLK came out, i was fishing for that Giant Rat in the Underbelly..... I got it once but misclicked and accidently lost after fishing for 4 hours straight ; ; (ofc by that time i had max fishing <.<) Thankfully i got him within 2 hours the next day, but between that time frame i was rather sad and frustrated.

Oh yeah, and downing a few of the preBC bosses on my shaman felt pretty good! :D (ie: back when the game was on hard mode) Only ever got to Ossirian, Ony and Raggy with my guild though =( .

Other than that.... Beating Legend of Dragoon (with Faust down, etc), managing to get the "good" ending in Chrono Cross with that annoying little "song" one must play. Finally defeating Lavos in Chrono Trigger felt kinda good too, the bastard's kinda annoying the first time you kill him.
